how hard do I grip the club? Depends on how mad I am at the time. Actually, I grip it kinda hard with the left hand and not so hard with the right. If I really want to hit is straight, I grip it really hard. I know I won't hit it as far, but being tight, the ball will not go off line at all.

My swing thoughts:

- Negative thinking hurts more than negative swinging.
- I let my swing balance me.
- Full extension back and through to the target. - I swing under not around my body. - My club must not twist in my swing. - Keep a soft left knee

Bauer- "I can't possibly imagine that grip pressure doesn't change during the swing. It seems impossible to have that type of control while thinking of so many things within 1.5 seconds."

Would've been interesting though to have a grip with pressure sensors in them to monitor the amount of pressure you have during the entire swing.

anywhere between 3 and 7. I get a bit sloppy when my hands are too loose, I tend to come apart at the top if I'm too loose. With a tight grip, you just gotta make sure your wrists are loose and fluid. Soft hands is the illusion which will help you with that.

Went to the range today and really concentrated on this... gripping about a 3 or 4.

Hit some of the best irons of my life. I need a lot more time to groove it and to feel comfortable with it, but I could tell it was right.

I am a straight ball hitter so the miss with this swing was a going draw. Not a bad thing, but I need to be able to control it and call for it when needed.

Thanks for all the advice.
