I play a full round 2-3 times a week in blissful serenity and never hear a peep about it.  I am also not married.  Perhaps I am on to something.  O:)

Ha, true. During my marriage I probably played 10 times in 8 years. Now, after my divorce, I play at least 10 times a month in season. That being said I will share a serious note now. I truly believe one of the main reasons my marriage failed was because I gave up much of my own identity to my marriage. I gave up hobbies and friends trying to focus on family. This focus on my wife and trying to make / keep her happy had the opposite effect. No one wants to be put on a pedestal like that. It creates an unhealthy dynamic and erodes the attraction in the marriage. No one respects someone who is constantly trying to please them. If I had stood on my own as a man and kept my identity, my hobbies, and my friends it would've created respect from my wife. Trying to placate her just created resentment and disgust. This was a hard lesson to learn but an important one that I share with all of my friends who can't seem to "keep her happy" or "get permission" from their wives. Make yourself your focus and watch what happens around you.

At least you figured all this out for your next relationship, many people don't even after many failed relationships.

One of my old 9 hole home course sent me an e-mail announcement that they will convert the course to soccer golf & regular golf.   That's what you and your gf needs!   Just don't mix up the balls when you play together.

Haha, when we first started seriously dating I would go watch her play her soccer games.

I haven't done that in like two years.  I think keeping to our own activities is working out quite nicely. B-)
