Someone "left" a bottle of this at my house. Never tried the Fine Oak version. I will report back!

Drank the Fine Oak 10 when it was first introduced... it was light.

I assume the 15 is light and smooth.

Nice. Got a half bottle, still in a cupboard somewhere. Ardbeg (of any type) is a top dram.

Oh yes! A beautiful part of the world and some excellent whisky. Need to get some more of this 10-y/o as it's really, really good.

Anyway, tonight I'm mostly drinking some really dark, Guyanan Demerara rum. Straight up, although would work really, really well with ginger ale and some lime as a (Dark & Stormy) long drink.

I know what you mean but I don't find it that 'burnt'. More of a molasses kind of hit for me. As a matter of fact, have a rather large shot of it by my side again tonight!

Really?? In Canada, ginger ale and ginger beer are very different. Ginger beer typically has a massive ginger hit, kinda burns the nostrils.

Ginger ale is much less pronounced, something kids can drink, ginger beer not so much.

Good idea. Great way to relax after putting my 8 month old twins to sleep. The brown liquid in the test jar is an English brown ale I just transferred to a keg. Very excited for that one. Should be ready in 2 or 3 weeks.

      Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
