The two in my signature.

I'm getting ready to modify the Odyssey putter. I'm gonna cut 1.5" off and put a new Winn oversize paddle grip on it.

This should get my arms straightened out a bit more.....just a natural hang down.

The 2-ball has been a dang good putter for me. Mine is the dual force with the firmer black face. I love the feel of this one much better than the softer white faced models.

Over the years I have changed drivers (7), 3 Woods (4), Iron Sets (4) and had various wedges. The funny thing is, I have really only owned 3 putters. The first was a cheap Knight one that came with my brothers set. I only used it for one year before my wife gave me a Ping Pal 4 for my birthday in 1994. I used it until I got my Cameron Laguna Mid-Slant in 2005.

2. I have my '85 T-Line and I just purchased an Odyssey Sabertooth here on TST. I thik I'm REALLY going to like the Sabertooth once I get used to it.
I've spent most of my life golfing - the rest I've just wasted.

In my bag todayâ¦.

One. Having more than one gives way to seeds of doubt and excuses. If you only have one you must make it work and sometimes that requires work. Work is good for you. My two cents.

I have a white hot 2 ball
an older carbite (don't even know the model..hand me down from dad)

and the only putter I'll use: S.C. Newport 2...
I don't believe in switching putters like some of my friends do...I like the feeling.. trust the putter...and feel comfortable with it...it's probably the only time that i feel 100% comfortable on a course.

Two.

Never Compromise #5 Milled and an old Nicklaus putter that's probably 30 years old. I'm probably going to get a Circa '62 #3 if I can find a good used one in gun blue.

I own 7 but have gotten good deals on all of them (except one which I will explain):
Collectors:
Macgregor Response MI 700. Its the putter that won the '86 masters. Cost me $10 at a pawn shop.
Macgregor Response MI 615. Cost me $3 at a swap meet.

Ones Ive used:
Old bulls eye. cost $5
Beauwood all-in. I currently play with this one. cost me $.75 at a thrift store.
Zebra mallet. I can not hit this putter straight to save my life. cost $9shipped off ebay
Goolie golf mallet. its actually really nice but do not like the half offset that it has. cost $15 used.
And finally a knock off SC futura. I got taken advantage of by a proshop employee when I was a newbie and spent $50 on this hunk of crap. I regret the purchase everytime I lay eyes on the stupid thing.

In my freestyle:
Driver: 10.5* G5 with UST V2
F.W. wood: 16* retro raylor with Aldila HM-40 Tour Gold
Irons: i5 3-pw. Stiff cs lite shafts
Wedges: 8620 51*, 56*, and 60* Putter: classics 1 34""Life is tough. It's tougher if you're stupid." -John Wayne

I have two, an old Ray Cook that was my fathers, it's so old the name and info on it were "stamped". I also have my Daiwa DG-245. I have owed about 5 others(Ping, Odyssey White-Hot #5, Odyssey 2 ball, and a few others) but sold them all because I just prefer my Diawa over them for some strange reason.

Since I took up golf again about 3 months ago, I have somehow acculated 6 putters

If you don't count older clubs that were given to me, my grandparents clubs (some nifty old hickory shafts, etc) but rather just putters that I have purchased, I have 2:

1. Odyssey White Hot #5 2. Some cheap blade I bought when I first bought clubs. I've been eyeing older used Ping Anser's lately, and I'm also considering building a Golfsmith USS Enterprise putter, mostly for fun, but it felt pretty good when I tried it out at the store..

In my Grom:

Ti Great Big Bertha Warbird 3 Wood
Killer Whale 5 WoodPinemeadow Command 3 Hy Eye 2 + 4-9 Irons 588 RTG 49 "Special", Gunmetal 56, RTG 60 White Hot #5 Tour B330-RXEpoch Tees Royal Oaks Golf Club
