damn your fast on the "situaton"

All I know about Jersey Shore is that:

a) it's on MTV b) some girl named Squiggy or Squirty or Stupid Ho or something gets punched in a bar by some other guy on the show c) I won't ever watch it. That said, let's stick to the stupid topic this thread's supposed to be about, not Squiggy or whatever her name is and the show she's on.

False. He's just quoting that stupid email that went around. The same one someone posted here a week or two ago. C'mon, it says it right at the bottom there in the "UPDATE:".

It's still possible this is all a tall tale. But a friend of mine has been told the same thing by someone who lives in the same community. I don't think anyone can say for certain it's false, any more than they can say for certain it's true.

No, it's false. Woods met with the FHP four days later or something to pay the fine (and had only a fat lip) and Mark Steinberg wasn't in Florida at the time of the accident, among other

factual errors.

We'll see. This incident has had a way of causing people to see how early certainty might be misplaced.

C'mon people, Who takes a plane from Orlando to Phoenix to get dental surgery? There are NO good dentists in Florida? Of course the story is fake.

IF you are not a super patient with a super agent on the dial, you are usually advised couple hours after a concussion not to fly for a plastic procedure. there are many beautiful people in orlando thanks to the fleet of plastic guys in orlando at their service...

Indeed it does. I'm confident that there will be further surprises - we just don't know what on earth they will be.

One important question remains open IMO: why did TW decline to speak to the cops for as long as he did, bailing out repeatedly on appointments? Unless he's a complete fool he got himself lawyered up within hours and worked on his "position" vis a vis the authorities, the public etc. Why did it take so long for him to be ready to face official questioning? There are a number of possible explanations but I won't speculate here.

What? It's a fact that he met with FHP when this story puts him in Phoenix and with nowhere near enough swelling, etc., etc. to have undergone any surgery whatsoever. I'm not a fan of just making stuff up, and that's all the entire post/email/story is - and that it conflicts with several known

facts has everything to do with the "certainty" of that story being true or not. It's a fabrication. A hoax. Someone's wild speculation.

Already discussed and closed. He didn't have to, just as you don't have to. Did you watch that hour-long video? You seem to be the only one who thinks it's an "important question" that "remains open."

whats the latest (closest to when it starts) tiger would have to let a tournament know that he was going to play?

It's something like 5pm the Friday before the event (which technically begins on the Monday three days later).

For the same reason you would get a doctor to fly from Canada to Florida for a simple blood-spinning.

Heck no, the results of said procedure all depend on who's standing next to the centrifuge you see.

The article is of course almost total rehashed conjecture and largely invalidated, we're all agree on that I trust. Btw, if an issue remains open in my mind, this in no way implies that it remains open in anyone else's mind. I've got one of my own you see.

so its not like he could wait until wednesday night right before the thursday tee off...that would be kind of cool, just an explosion of interest the night before.

To correct a medical problem?

All I know about Jersey Shore is that:

Her name is "Snooki". And she got punched by some random Queens gym teacher that was drinking their booze while they weren't watching.

I still think he is a good guy overall, he just happens to be addicted to more than golf. Being addicted to the P is a serious matter... the man needs help.

Which would make him not a good guy...

    • Really? When? What was your AFSC/job? Maybe we overlapped somewhere?
    • Yea, those first three par 3's were all effectively long iron shots. BLAH! Hole 2 and Hole 5 were OK. The rest on the front nine were meh.
    • I appreciated the idea, but I don't think I will be doing that.  For me, taking the arms out causes my right elbow to stay to close to my body, and the hands start to just go deep.  I agree
    • Ditto.  The course certainly had some faults. It was squeezed onto a parcel of land half of which was barely suitable for golf. So I think the architect did a mostly good job with what was given to him. I was less happy with the course setup and maintenance. Greens were bumpy and speed was very inconsistent from one hole to the next. Too many cups were cut 3 yards from the front, and many others were cut on top of humps or on slopes 2% or more. It is no wonder pace of play was almost 5 hours. My other gripes are that many of the original sand traps have been removed, dummying down the design intent to save money, and cart paths were often too close to the playing areas. I probably would not play there again.
    • I have a John Deere, Taylor Made Golf bag (black and charcoal) and I'm looking for a Taylor Made Golf Towel that I can customize it with an Embroidered John Deere Logo. Any websites, or custom people out there that anyone recommends?
