Tough one, because I think most all companies have their specialty, and most all do have quality products. I probably would have to stick with Nike for now. Their drivers, fairway woods, and irons have been solid for me, as has the ONE Tour D ball (though I switch up balls semi-often to try new stuff - cant wait to try the Penta!).

I haven't played any Nike wedges or putters, but I've got everything else covered and have had good experience with them. That's not to say I haven't had good experiences with equipment from other manufacturers too...

I would go with Ping.

I second that motion!! I use Odessey putter and titlelist wedges...but...Ping performs fine in these catagories

Tools of my game:
Burner 09' Driver 10.5 Reg flex
5-pw G10's/ plus Taylormade R7 4 iron
Burner 08' 4 Hybrid
A70S 3 Hybrid Burner 09' 3 wood "Zing" SW 56 degree Fastback Laser range finder / plus Skycaddie SG5...also a great ball retriever!!

This is a tough question. I'm a big nike fan but don't like their putters or balls. I'm a big taylormade fan but not sure about their putters. So it would be a toss up between Ping and Titleist, both make great woods, hybrids, irons, wedges and putters. Ping would edge it I think, then I could use the Srixon z-star ball! Now why the hell don't I have any ping clubs in my bag? lol

I'd go with Ping, because I love the G-10 and 15 series. However, since they cost so much money and I can't afford them, my affordable brand to go with would most definitely be Nickent.

while i love pings... if i had the game i'd go with mizuno.

my mp fli-hi 3 iron is absolutely amazing. i can't imagine what it would be like to have a whole set of mizuno irons...

ive heard so-so reviews about their woods... but i could probably get used to them quickly.... if only they made balls.....

I'm pretty sure I'd have to go with Adams, even though they are definitely not a top-tier company. I love my (relatively old) driver, 3 wood, and hybrid. I know they make great irons too.

Adams is not top tier? Have you seen their pro models? The Pro MB Black are some of the best blades out there, and thier Insight woods (which I play) are just phenominal.

In the past i would have to say Titleist

But the new stuff Nike is putting out and knowing how much money they spend in the R & D department they are the best i believe.

    • Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
    • Just stumbled onto the article.  Totally random and thought it might be interested to hear other thoughts. maybe I am tired of all the LIV crap and  this just caught my attention.
    • Day 1: Spent some time hitting some balls. Working on my hips and a “soft” and straight trail arm.
