The Tiger Woods stuff id taking the fun out of watching golf. (wow i cant believe i just called watching golf fun. gulp) I wanted to watch the final stage of q-school because a former player from my high school was in it (he missed by 2 shots), but every other minute it was Tiger this, Tiger that. it was too much.

I actually enjoyed the Shark Shootout all day....mainly because I was there. Didn't have to listen to all the Tiger gossip.

Of course it was a little strange coming back afterwards and watching it on tv (since it was tape delay).

That is what DVR is for...TV should never, ever get in the way of playing golf.

When TW is in contention (which seems like 95% of ther time)...I will agree, it is pretty damn good TV.

I disagree..when TW is in contention it's like watching a Ali - Fraiser fight, I'm glued to the tv or the dvr replay. He's the 2nd best golfer (so far) to ever play this game, probably the best ever in a few years.

I spend as many sundays as possible on the golf course reguardless if tiger is playing or not!!!

I said

I dont watch if/when he's on or in the tourny. I generally watch the final round if I do watch PGA golf, cept if Eldrik is playing. I enjoy the LPGA and the Championship tours...aint no Tiger!
