I wouldn't want to asnwer that one but Allenby is sure playing smart, composed golf at this point (16th). Remarkable what a new putting stroke can do for a golfer. It's turning into a nice, tight finish.

I was watching the tourney on Saturday night, am I the only one who thought Allenby is a bit of a cry baby on course?

You know what i was thinking the very same, the spectators seemed great there and he was the only one getting annoyed on every tee box and after every shot he took it looked like he was whining.Even after good shots.

The guys over at Golf.com thought he did well not complain after the round considering the endless noise and distractions from the courtesy tents etc on a lot of the holes.Although Ryan Palmer wasn't bothered. All depends how you view it I suppose.

A great shot is when you go for it and pull it off. A smart shot is when you don't have the guts to try it. ~ Phil Mickelson.

I only got to catch about 6 holes. But it seemed he was squawking on 90% of his shots. (yelling at marshalls, individual spectators and wholoe groups of people moving) I am just getting heavy back into golf and really until now only tuned into the majors the last 5 years or so. What I saw 90% of the time with him over that stretch on Saturday. I have seen maybe once or twice a whole round (if that) at a major out of the best players.

Maybe as you said it was venue. (I have actually been to a tourney there and there is a lot of activity going on) But if it was me playing....I could never play well if it bothered me that much. It actually had me rooting against him by the end. Maybe the other part is the Golf Channel coverage is not on par with what you find at a major tournament. (I am sure much smaller budget for a tournament like that) I must be spoiled from major network coverage. BUT I AM NOT COMPLAINING as it is nice to be able to watch it in the first place.
