Does anyone have any experience with this company? I am enticed by their low prices and golf digest had them listed in their recent article regarding the improvements in modern irons.

I just rented as set of Tour Edge clubs on vacation and they seemed fine. I wish that the sets I rented didn't have 4,5, & 6 Hybrids, but other than that they were OK

I have 3 of their Geo Max hybrids and like them just fine. Quality is very good also.

I have 3 XCG hybrids and an XCG 3 Wood... nothing has even come close to measuring up.

The Tour Edge Exotics line is exceptional! I've been playing their XCG-V line (Driver & 3/5 FW) all last season. They are fantastic and quality clubs.

I know there is a growing demand for it locally but the shops are scared of carrying much of an inventory. They
say the new TE sticks are priced way above other brands, but then are sold at cut rate prices online within 6 months.

I tried some of their fairways on the range early last year...very nice.

I actually just traded with another member on this forum for a set of Tour Edge CNC forged irons w/ KBS Tour shafts. These irons are sweet. I was playing Titleist Ap2s w/ Project X shafts (the 2008 version) and decided to give these a shot. I wanted another set to have around and was looking to hit something different...I like to tinker with my equipment pretty consistently. I'm not sure if it's in my head, but I'm really hitting these clubs more solidly than the AP2s. They feel great and definitely give you adequate feedback. They have a real soft feel to them. I really like the way they look at set up...very traditional and confidence inspiring for me. Believe it or not, I actually prefer them to my Ap2s. Last but not least, I love the way they look...really cool and different. I will say that I think some folks may have issues with the soles though. They go from quite wide with the pw to very blade-like in the longer irons (really 3-5). For me, I find it unique and cool because it's so different. It's also nice to have a set that you won,t see in many other people's bags while out on the course. I hope this helps. Just my two cents.

I used to play TourEdge Comp 950 irons a few years ago. They were the 2nd set of irons I ever had, my dad bought them for me. I LOVED those irons, got down to my lowest ever handicap (I was a 6) with them. Played with them for probably 6-7 years and wore them smooth, so I decided to get Callaway x18 and haven't been much lower than a 10 handicap since. I searched google for those irons, and it appears there are a few different Comp 950 out there, the ones I had were black on the other side of the club face ... I couldn't find any pictures of them. The other Comp 950 models that I saw pictures of looked pretty awful.

I have owned a number of their products over the years, especially fairway woods and hybrids. The exotics line is aimed a high dollar group, other lines are solid game improvement clubs. The exotics have definitely found some price resistance, especially in the drivers. I think their fairway woods have been some of the best for a number of years.

Sombody i know bought a complete tour edge set towards the end of last season. I dont know the models but he seemed very happy with the purchase.

Tour Edge is a "best kept secret" among the smaller club makers. A local golf shop has a knowledgeable, veteran club fitter who has followed TE since the 1980s. He said TE is privately owned, has limited production runs, and doesn't advertise like the big guys do. Lots of public-course golfers in the Midwest play Tour Edge clubs.

I played the Tour Edge Bazooka Tungsten Beta Ti fairway woods from 2003 to 2009. Had a 3W (14*) and a 5W (19*) with Grafalloy Ultralite stiff shafts. They had a low-profile head that launched one hot ball if you hit them with a slight draw.

Quit using them when I went back to regular shafts.

Last couple of years, the TE Exotics fairway woods have attracted a small cult following of fans.

However, I really have not heard anything about their irons and hybrids. I've had my eye on the XCG-3 irons, but finding somehere to demo them isn't easy. Any thoughts?

well i cant tell you much about there irons but I have a 7 wood and a putter from Tour Edge. The putter is alright but I really dont like the 7-wood and I always hook with it

From 2002 to 2009, I played Pro Tour Bazooka Beta-Ti fairway woods. Had 14* 3W and 19* 5W. Low-profile heads which got the ball up well. Mine came with Ultralight Stiff shafts made by Grafalloy.

Produced a very hot ball when hit square or with a slight draw. A fade was softer and checked up pretty well if struck properly.

Had trouble with hitting them off the tee; tended to pop the ball up. I later found out I should have put ball on a tuft of grass rather than on a wooden peg. Eventually retired them when I went from stiff to regular shafts on all my clubs.

Lots of public-course golfers in Midwest have some Tour Edge clubs in their bags. The Exotics models are high end, and have a cult following.

I tried some of the xotics at a demo day last year, really good stuff...just one helluva price tag :P
