Sweet. The habs are done. Yes, i'm Canadian. & yes, i was cheering for Philly. Why? I'm a Leafs fan. We can't win the cup so it's all about the little victories LOL.

I've got the Hawks taking the whole thing in six games. Anybody else got a prediction?

BTW, the Canucks 6 game loss doesn't look so bad anymore does it? Hey Joe Thornton? Are you listening?

Ive got the Hawks taking it in 4 games. If the Sharks went down in 4 games, the Flyers dont have a chance! The winner of the cup really was decided in the Sharks/Hawks series. The SCF is really just a formality.

Hey, new to the forum and REALLY new to golf. I honestly don't think many people expected to see the Blackhawks and the Flyers in the finals. Even though I'm a HUGE Red Wings fan... I'm happy that the Blackhawks won it all.

Sigh...I thought this was finally gonna be our year, but we still got further than anyone outside of Philly thought. It's gonna be interesting to see what happens next year, because we have some major cap issues.

What about Kane's game winning goal. . .? It was almost anti-climactic. . .you could tell by the puzzled looks on the Hawks' faces as they looked around for some sort of acknowledgment. There was no horn, no siren. Kane clearly knew it went in as did Leighton as he knew he was beaten 5-hole. After seeing it on slow mo replay it was a great shot from a tight angle.

Nice to see him add a Stanley Cup ring to his Olympic Silver Medal. He's without a doubt a special player. Congrats to Toews on the Conn Smythe, well deserved. It looks light the future is bright for Chicago, considering the youth and talent on this team from Toews and Kane, to Patrick Sharp, Seabrook, Keith, Byfuglien.

Kane's goal was as garbage as Sidney Crosby's goal in the Winter Olympics.

I'm sure Leighton would agree with you too. As would Ryan Miller, but hey Kane's got a ring and Crosby's got a gold medal. Too bad it was the OT winner. . .it don't have to be pretty son! It won them the cup which and that's the simple fact.

Being from Pittsburgh, this Stanley Cup was a lose-lose situation for me. I really hate the Flyers and I really hate Hossa. But I guess Hossa winning is better than the Flyers winning. Neither Leighton or Niemi are very good goalies. Every year in the playoffs, a no name goalie plays out of his mind and then no one hears about him again the next season because they are average NHL goalies who played well above their abilities. Both goalies let up so many awful goals in the last series it wasn't even all the exciting. and epecially the last goal of the 2009-2010 NHL season scored by Kane just proves how awful Leighton is. He will start for the Flyers next season for the first 5-10 games before the lose the majority of those and realize how bad he is.

Do you mean every year there's one goalie who gets really hot then disappears? Or were you trying to say the Stanley Cup finals goalies are always no names? One of those statements would be dead wrong.

There is always 1 goalie who gets really hot then disappears. Halak was just traded to the Blues. I bet we don't hear much about him next season...

      I have a putting mat in my office. It's 9 feet long almost 4 feet wide. I've drawn a line down it in order to practice hitting my line and stuff. Works fine for what it is.  While I'm not a fan of lining up a line on my golfball for every putt. I think for practice sessions it can have a lot of value.  To me this product makes sense.       Angle is not a factor. I hit the ball 100’ high. Par is net birdie. My CH is 16. The rough between the bunkers is like 10’ wide though. That’s not something you’re going to try to hit on purpose. Most of the area to the left of that is fescue/native vegetation and I’m pretty sure there isn’t a flat lie in any of it. It’s the second hole.

      Hello all.  I'm about to be 57 yrs old, started playing when I was 16, and have quit and restarted the game more times than I can count.  I had started playing a weekly round with a friend, and finally made the jump to Senior A shafted Tour Edge clubs.  Instantly gained 10 yds with an easier swing (why didn't I make that jump sooner???).  Glad to be a part of the group.
