Always carry, my bags not that heavy <16lbs total. The health and muscle benefits are extravagant. Can get tough on a hilly course though...

I use a trolley. I carried for year up until the end of last season when I bought a push cart. I noticed a big difference in fatigue and shoulder soreness. I wouldn't go back if I didn't have to.

Carry a Titleist bag, with as few balls and gadgetry as I can get away with to make it as light as possible. Will no doubt go the trolley route as age takes its toll.

Cheers,

I picture a morning commuter hanging off the side of a trolley car with his carry bag over his shoulders.

Push/pull cart when it gets > 28 degrees C or if everyone else has one and they're included. I prefer to carry if I'm able to and it's permitted.

I carry. It does get tough on those 100 degree days when you're walking steep hills. My legs are usually shot by the 14th. In addition to the exercise, it's nice to take in the smell of the fresh cut fairways and making the first steps in the morning dew if you landed an early tee time.

I rode in a cart last week for the first time in eons and it kind of threw off my rhythm. My pre-shot routine usually starts about 10-20 yards away as I'm walking up to my ball.

All the above...Carry when playing early mornings at my secondary home course (~5:30 AM rounds). Have a nice Linksman pull cart for mid-day Summer play, or if others are also pulling. Use a cart at my primary home course, as it is included in the membership fee, and I'm usually playing in a foursome anyway - pace of play reasons.

I've been carrying my PING Hoofer 2 for quite awhile now, and I always prefer to carry vs a cart. I do think I'm in need of a new bag though, my straps are becoming quiet worn and the padding is practically all broken down and gone.

I carry. I have a Nike stand bag of some sort. It has 2 shoulder straps so you can use it like a backpack. It makes a big difference compared to one shoulder strap.

I always use a push cart. After a couple back surgeries, it's much more enjoyable not to carry my clubs for 6 miles a round. I get much less tired, and can put that energy into the game, and with my game, it needs all the energy it can get.........

I use a push cart now. I used to always carry my bag, but after three knee surgeries and currently two meniscus tears in my right knee, it is really hard (and painful) to make it 18.

Depends, I am 21 so it would be pretty embarrassing using a pull cart, but for the elderly it is ok.

Haha, I never feel embarrased using the pull cart. If anything I feel smarter.

Carry. Its good exercise, not to mention my pride wont let me use a cart. Its silly, but I feel that using a cart would be admitting that Im old and Im just not ready for that yet.
