I played with the most annoying in the 40s guys. I got yells like "Bunker Specialist", "Nice shot!" (on bad shots), "At Last" (on good shots). It's like being attacked verbally from a bunch of bad players. These guys slices their tee shots and angry everytime they made bad shots. I feel like aiming my shots at their butts.

Agree. In my mind, the only thing that should keep them off the 18 hole course is if they can't keep up with the posted or otherwise official pace for their group size. If they can do that, and you'd like them to play faster, well, I imagine you'll find something else to be pissed off about on the course if that's not a problem so I've got pretty limited sympathy. If you can't keep up with the official pace, then you need to find a way to speed up. If that means you have to pick up halfway through every other hole, then so be it. You do have a responsibility to play to a reasonable pace, but reasonable is not defined by the fastest SOB on the course.

I agree. We were all newbees at one point and there were plenty of times when I was first starting out where I had to pick up to keep up with the pace of play. It's silly to say that new golfers shouldn't be allowed to play during peak times, it's up to his/her playing partners to teach the newbee the rules & etiquite(sp) of golf and to keep them on pace. As long as that is done, I don't have any problems with new golfers on the course.

my get up and go musta got up and went..

This one guy who looked like he was from the TV show Punk'd, and he was just as annoying. I should have just suffered playing by myself than thinking that I should have been nice to them behind me and forming a group of 3.

If that's actually happening, nobody would know they're newbs, so I guess we're talking about times when that clearly isn't happening - that's the situation the guy had on his list.

I actually have to admit for me it's my neighbor with whom I play alot.......he is very slow, delibrate to a T...he will spend 5 or more mins looking for a ball, and takes 4 or 5 practice swings, and (I'm a ready golfer) on the Tee Box and on the Green and he's all about the rules (which I'm fine with) but when you're in a zone the last thing you want is to wait, and when groups are waiting behind you as well (everytime we play at least 1 or 2 groups go ahead of us) we even let 2 women play through last week, (granted they were in a cart, while we walked)
