Anyone see the highlights of Tiger's round?I was surprised how Stack and Tilt he's gone. He's stopped moving off the ball in the backswing completely which is a massive change for him.Seems to be keeping his right knee straighter. He seems to have changed his setup a little too, his feet are flared open a little which I've never seen him do before. The head dip is there but isn't as severe as before.Quite impressive today.

The head dip does nothing! It is a power move that many professional golfers do. Hogan did it and he was the best ball striker of all time.

I couldn't tell from the highlights how much Woods' swing changed, but normally I stop watching golf as it's silly season.

Seeing Woods' swing change progression is interesting to watch though. Lets see if he can keep up the good play for 3 more rounds though.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

And Phil has missed the cut with a 3 over today and 4 over for the tournament.

phil needs to get rid of that blade putter, i know he cant put with anything else but everyone I know that used a blade putter is SOO inconsistent with putting. They have flashes of brilliance but are known to miss 5 footers. I would know I used one in the past

    • Would love to but don’t think I’ll be back in the NE until May timeframe. I did AimPoint Express a year ago and I think it has been a huge help for me. Been wanting to do a refresher.
    • Ha. He has always seemed as a doofus, and every now and then he confirms the suspicions with stuff like this.
    • Great post here even if it is from 2015! So I guess I would revise my consistency goal to something like "improve my poor shots and reduce the dispersion in shot results, in both distance and direction".
    • +2 on a quick 9 today. Pretty easy course although no roll in the PNW off season. Used only 4 clubs for a fast getaway from the house and a bit of a challenge. Rangefinder would have been useful.
    • As the calendar year draws to a close thank you all for putting up with me, and allowing me into your insights. The golf posting season is now ended but play continues on for my second winter (it is awesome!). This year has been good for me although I still have things I would like to correct. I am in awe of all of you that work diligently on your swings. If I ever find an instructor like my first, and find enough time to add practice I will join you in that quest. For now I love to play too much. Advance Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you!
