He jokes around alot before the round but when Ive seen him on the course he is in a really competitive mode. He said inside the ropes last year or so he was a very angry person and he wanted to change that.

I saw him the Barclays, last Saturday. Hit his second shot on 17 left of the green, and jokingly remarked "thats not good." On 18 you need to hit a slight fade with the driver, Bubba hit it dead straight putting him in the left rough and he got PISSED...temper is still there.

His swing in person makes your jaw drop

his swing or the ball flight?

both, I saw 2 swings from less than 10 feet away and another where you were like 75 yards back from the tee and had the shots almost going over your head.

His hands are so high at the top of the swing and his left arm is at an unreal angle, very active legs also The sound his ball made going over my head was unlike any other golfer I saw that day To be honest nearly every golfer I saw had similar ball flight, the ball looks like it continually rises and then drops right at the end, just a matter of how high and how far.

great video! thanks for sharing! It would be cool to see more of the players personalities on TV occasionally, instead of just asking what they thought of their round, throw a fun question out here and there, for the players with something interesting to say :)

Bubba's awesome. He seems like such a fun guy. I love how he was making fun of Rickie Fowler at the deusche bank video

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

Hahahaha Bubba is my new favorite golfer. He was definitely in my top 5 beforehand, but seeing these really made me feel like you could get to know the guy. Seeing him tee off with some randoms was pretty amazing too; GO BUBBA!

perhaps he isn't as focused as some of the others(martin kaymer) when it really comes down to putting away the tournament.

Bubba, like myself, has A.D.D. He (Squirrel!) He knows about it and just deals with it like I have without drugs. I read somewhere that a highly respected doctor offered to work with him and teach him how to control his ADD. Bubba refused because he's affraid that it will change him not only as a player, but as a person as well. The guy is awesome.

Coming to you from the now, in the middle of now.

The guy is awesome.

As long as you're watching him on one of these videos.

On the course he's a whining, pouting jerk, which is obviously why the PR machine (which is so eagerly being lapped up here) has to go into gear.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

    • A bit of background. The Southern California Golf Association (SCGA) runs an annual event known as "Team Play." It is a wildly popular match play competition where Men's Clubs across the region put together teams of 20+ golfers together to compete against other clubs in a 16 vs. 16 match. In any given year, approximately 80-100 clubs will participate. Each club is grouped into "pods" of 4, and will play 6 total matches - one home and one away match against the other 3 clubs. The winning club from each pod advances to the Team Play Playoffs - a single elimination format - until a winner is crowned.  Antelope Valley Country Club just advanced to the championship match for the 3rd consecutive year. They won the championship in both 2022 and 2023.  Based on my review of the match history from the past 3 years (linked below), they have won 21 consecutive team matches. Keep in mind, these are handicapped matches, so this is not just a case where a group of sticks bands together to dominate the poor amateurs other SoCal clubs. Even if these guys are grinders who never quit, play their best under pressure and routinely putt the lights out, the law of averages still say that a streak of that nature is mathematically impossible.  Is there any plausible explanation beyond institutionalized sandbagging throughout the club? • Day 3- Practiced putting for 20 minutes.
    • Interesting that Scottie is #10 on the all time money list and he's been on the PGAT for 4 years. Of course, purses are bigger now, but  neat to look at non-the-less.  The list of top 18 money winners in PGA Tour history has plenty of surprises This list is updated through the 2024 RBC Heritage. To add, Scottie won 4.5 million at the Players, Jack played 44 seasons and won a little of 5 million on course.
    • 43 (6 over) Couple bogies, couple Pars, a birdie and no doubles. Not bad for first 9 of the year.
    • Most the stuff I found on Instagram and just copy and mix it up. a few of my favorites: Clean>Squat>Press> March Around the body >catch >Squat> press I also hold a the kettle bell upside down with both hands on the handle. Squat when I stand back up I lift the kettlebell up over and behind my head and hold then repeat
