So I had a lot of visitors from out of town and a weekend retreat last week so I havent golfed in almost a month. It sucks. I did hit the range at least once a week and twice this week.
I'll be camping this weekend really close to a 9 hole course and on Saturday I'm going to walk at least 9, Sunday walk a hilly 18 and probably walk 18 on Monday. Depending on hangovers.
Any tips for going from no golf to ironman golf. lol. Its not really that big a challenge but the rest of the day on Saturday, Sunday and Monday I will be surfing, swimming, spearfishing etc.

Be conscious of your grip pressure and keep it light. Swing a little easier than usual. Also be conscious of what changes in your swing when you get rusty. When I am hitting the ball well the club makes it all the way around my body in the follow through so the clubhead and my right shoulder are facing the target. If I haven't played in a while my follow through shortens quite a bit. The cause is loss of flexibility and too much tension in my body.

Thanks. Ill hit less than normal before each round and just work on feel, finesse and shoulder turn. And I will bring advils. I get MEAN hangovers. And Pseudoephedrine for diving/surfing.

If those advils arent already packed and my old lady woulda forget them then I owe bwdial at least a few beers if not a sleeve of pro v-1s. I would have been miserable without them. THANKS!
