Mmmhmm........and Santa Claus is going to the club with me....

No, not Santa. You owe him... Remember he thrashed you 5 and 4! You can go to the club with the Great Pumpkin however.

Carling and I are going to work on her birdie dance....

Is that what you call it? :p

You two should play a round with me and Sara Brown sometime! What courses do you play around Indy? I play Hickory Stick and Heartland quite a bit (despite living in Carmel).

In the bag:

My favorite is Purgatory in Noblesville. Stony Creek has an excellent Par 3 for me and the boys (14, 6). The 18 is ok. River Glen sometimes, also The Fort. Some of the guys I play with live west, so we do Avon/Plainfield area at times. I actually played less this year than in the past 10 or so. New house, Coffing time, etc.

Carling says look out for a crazy challenge on Tuesday. Something along the lines of head to head matches and ALL losers get a strike! More than one strike handed out? Interesting. Thanks CC....

Brian reminds me of the Phil McGlino (sp?) of Big Break; what a dweeb! But as far as the worst I think its a toss up between him and the big guy with way too much atittude who I believe now has 2 strikes, I think his name is Dave. A-rod isn't far behind.

i think daves got some game. He was the remax long drive champion like 2 years ago or something , he can drive the ball like 400 yards or whatever

It was 2004. He doesn't act like a bad guy, afterall, it's "reality" tv.

http://www.davidmobley.com/accolades/ I think Brian is hilarious. Every shot is his best until he blows it. The talk is what make it. Brenda will not make it.

A-Rod has played some events on the PGA Tour.... I think the other guys give him a pretty wide berth for that and other reasons such as his solid game. Same for Lori. She's played on the LPGA, as well as having more Duramed victories than all the other ladies combined.

This is my first season watching Big Break and I'm hooked. Seems to me that the format is 5 hot girls who can golf; 1 girl who can really golf and 6 guys more in need of a shrink than a golf lesson. But gotta remember - its entertainment, not golf. I'd love to play against Brian - guy is 100x better golfer than me but could get so into his head he'd never get off the tee. With the brutal b*stards I play with you better be able to focus (and to give sh*t right back).

You know, I enjoyed the show more when it was just about being the best golfer....

On this page alone, there are two 9 handicappers, a 15, a 30, a twenty-something, etc. Not that all posters are saying as such, but if ANY of us think you could compete with ANY Big Breaker from this season, male or female, you're nuts imo.

Playing with your buddies, talking crap with friends, playing for $100... Does not compare with playing for real cash, thousands of dollars, and trying to earn enough for future entry fees, to keep your financial backers interested, and playing for the RIGHT to play next year?

Comparing us to Duramed players, or mini touring pros, etc. Is not even apples to oranges. It's apples to Hello Kitty Roller Skates.

    • However, have you ever considered using small summer houses for such setups? They offer a great solution for creating dedicated practice areas, especially for an affluent audience looking to enhance their outdoor living space.
    • I've played Bali Hai, Bear's Best and Painted Desert. I enjoyed Bali Hai the most--course was in great shape, friendly staff and got paired in a great group. Bear's Best greens were very fast, didn't hold the ball well (I normally have enough spin to stop the ball after 1-2 hops).  The sand was different on many holes. Some were even dark sand (recreation of holes from Hawaii). Unfortunately I was single and paired with a local "member" who only played the front 9.  We were stuck behind a slow 4-some who wouldn't let me through even when the local left. Painted Desert was decent, just a bit far from the Strip where we were staying.
