Those kind of people shouldnt even be on the golf course.. slow play and people who dont know proper etiquette on the golf course are a major problem. I've been at course's where there are signs that say 'slow players, let faster groups play through' and it still isnt enough.. for instance a two some waiting for a foursome shouldnt even be an issue. I have no problem letting people play through especially since i hate feeling rushed. But i have been in situations where i have felt like the people infront of me are just being jerks about the situation.. and the only hint you can give them is bombing a 290 yarder down the fairway as soon as they hit their second shots.

"I don't beat up on my grandpa, he wasn't my grandpa, so I hit him," Ryan Alexander said spontaneously after being handcuffed, Meier wrote. Ryan Alexander had visible cuts and dried blood on both his hands, the affidavit said.

HA HA HA! What a moron!

That's why i just hit into slow groups. Asking to play through can only cause problems.

    • Hi Thank you for your input. Exercise has helped me thru the numerous injuries from most likely a bad swing. But as time goes, I learned to exercise the muscles which I had injured just so that I could keep on playing against my doctors advise. I exercise my upper body so I feel less pain on my left shoulder and do Yoga and planks to strengthen my core so I do not re-injure my lower back. Bicycling has also helped to get my legs stronger. When practice putting for an hour my back is shot so is my plantar fasciitis. I would love to know what sort of weight training and exercise regimen is specific for the golfing muscles per se. BTW I am 58
    • And those are the good players.  After the culled the field on Friday.
    • I've never played golf drunk.  But I do take a sip of an Italian Sports Drink on occasion to keep the swing well-oiled.
    • Interesting stat on Sky. The field today is +2 on holes 10-16. 17 and 18??  +97!!
    • Of course there are many different levels of "drunk". Can't say I've ever played with anyone who was literally falling-down drunk, but there have certainly been many experiences with people of lesser levels of intoxication.  Here in the US, it isn't uncommon to have scramble events that include people that aren't regular golfers. Those events can get very sloppy. Once I played in one of these scrambles with this very friendly fellow who alternated between marijuana and beer for the entire 18 holes.  The word we use here is contact buzz and I think I would have failed a piss test the next day. It was fun, but I'm not entirely sure it was golf.
