I am a Sr. Computer Programmer/Analyst thinking of moving to your beautiful state soon. IF I can find work. Anyway, each time I search the web for apartments(Louisville, Boulder, Longmont, Colorado Springs, etc), I get huge complexes having a pool, rec/club house, senior centers(not yet needed), etc. Are there normal type apartments to be found - garden apts, folks owning private 2 family homes renting an apt, etc? Also, what are the avg rents for 1br and 2br apts, utility costs, etc? One more question. I know it won't be like here in NYC, having major mass transit, yet is there commuter transit to any of the major cities from most neighborhoods? I would like estimate costs, and also possibly take a few days to fly there and drive around. Maybe get in some skiing if I can afford it.
