NO! not out on the course but my birthday is today and I hit the pair of 6s..........66. Wish I was 20 again, knowing what I know now but it ain't gonna happen. Anyway, I've been retired for 14 years and I've traveled all over the west and played a bunch of courses and marshalled at quite a few. I've hit a hole in one and made a passel of eagles over the years. I play free now at the country club and I work in the Pro Shop. I get to see a bunch of my high school buddies and I have plenty of time now to do my art work. I have a one man show coming up in April so you will see me sporatically here on GT. Got to stay in front of the easel all I can!

Happy birthday. What kind of art do you do? I've started Airbrushing since retirement.

Airbrushing is something I've not got into and my youngest son thinks I should. He sees all the work done on Harleys and he wants me to do that kind of stuff and get rich. I will have three different areas at the show in April, drawings, acrylic paintings and gourd art. I do mostly Native American, western and landscape. I am doing a large landscape as we speak of a scene I photoed in Yellowstone National Park of a buffalo grazing in a meadow. It will be neat, I hope when I finish it.

    • Its interesting that at some of the more exclusive clubs in the US, trolleys are looked down on.  Somehow they're not "proper golf".   But go to the most exclusive clubs in Scotland, and the vast majority of the members are using trolleys, and by now a large percentage of them are using the motorized variety.
    • Day 20 - soft/straighter right elbow with 8i into net x 10mins this morning. A little chilly out.
    • These remind me of a ball from the 80s (I think).  The Wilson ProStaff had "truncated cone" dimples, with flat bottoms.  I thought they were hexagonal shaped, but a quick Google search indicates that was a different ball.  Still, there have been lots of dimple shapes over the years.  To answer the original question, I have yet to see Bridgestone's newest idea.
    • Will that help the ball know where it’s supposed to go?    Very cool. I assume the claim is extra distance and straighter ball flight?
    • Its such an individual thing.  Why mic golfers and expect there would be no cussing.   It happens in every profession sports and probably more so in other sports if football players or baseball players were mic up.   Why are we putting golfers in a different category?
