I haven't seen that. I've added items to my list and within a few minutes it's there. You currently (right now) don't have anything in your signature - no lists, no text.

I took it out last night and never put it back in. But yea, if you look at my lists under "Future Purchases" it'll say two items and have the Cobra S2 picture as the main. But when I put it in my signature it still says seven items and it still has the picture of the Odyssey Crimson Series Putter. When you click on it though it has the new, updated list it's just not showing it in the signature. It's just the # of items and the picture that is staying the same. It's kinda hard to explain so if you want you can just go into my profile and look at my lists and then at my signature and it should make more sense.

Career Bests:

9 Holes--37 @ The Fairways at Arrowhead-Front(+2)

18 Holes--80 @ Carroll Meadows Golf Course(+9)

Home Course:

1) The Fairways at Arrowhead

2) Mayfair Country Club

I see it now and will report the bug.

Feature/Bug: Signatures have a gray bar above them separating the main post content from the signature. However, if signature text is not present and the user has lists in their signature then there is no gray bar. It's not a big deal, but I would think that it would make the most sense if all signatures had the gray bar above them, regardless of whether they contain any text.

I noticed that the other day, but forgot to write it in an email. So now I'll just link to your post and say "this!" :-) Thanks!

Bug: When HTML entities are specified in post text and then the user clicks "Preview", those HTML entities are parsed and replaced by HTML characters, meaning that you have to change them all back to HTML entities before submitting. Example: Original text is:
IMO, Tiger < Lefty
because you want to use a "less than", but if you just put the "less than" sign it will get parsed as an HTML tag and it will mess up the post's formatting, so you use the HTML entity for left angled bracket. After you click "Preview" you see in your text box:
IMO, Tiger < Left
But now it's just a normal left angled bracket, so you have to change it back to an HTML entity. The previewed post shows the HTML character instead of the entity, and that's what I want, but as the user I don't want my text box to be updated with the HTML character as well. That's what you get for previewing. What kind of a weenie are you? Real men say "damn the torpedoes" and just click submit!

(Reported as a bug. And I'm about 80% sure you know I'm just joking above...)

P.S. This is a bug only with the editor you're using, which isn't the "Rich Text Editor." I think you're using the BB Editor or whatever they call the simplified version. I did it just now above and it worked fine. I'm undecided whether it's funnier to have > or >. :-)

Whoops, you replied before I finished editing my post. But it looks like you understood what I was saying. You're just mad because my example says "Tiger

My problem with editing posts that I've just made seems to have gone away.  This is unfortunate, as I will now be going back to my lazy, non-previewing ways.

They've been on winter break, so I'll ask them again today. They have a backlog of email from me but since this is very clearly a BUG and not a feature request I'll try to get it bumped.

Feature request: Unless I'm missing something, when you view a person's list and click on an item there is no way to go to that item's actual profile page. Eg, view my clubs list in my signature, if you want to see reviews for, say, my hybrid, you can't just follow a link to the club's main page, you have to go to the "Equipment" tab and then manually search for it. Since all items in lists have to be created in the central database, I think the reasonable user expectation is to find a link to the item's main page.

Bug Report: I've seen a lot of embedded YouTube videos not working, and although I can't supply a link (it comes and goes), I took a screenshot and attached it below. Quite often the embedded video will just not be there, replaced by a white space (that is a slightly different color from the surrounding white, which you can see if you tilt your screen a little). If this has been addressed, my bad.

I submitted that very "feature request" last week, I think. It's dumb the way lists currently do that.

Hasn't been addressed and it's not just you, but it seems to be a sort of temporary thing, like the page didn't load completely or something. I'll report it.

I can't see MY PROFILE and it reads I will be able to see it when I am more active in the Forums. How active do you have to be? How many posts do you need to do? Starting to get frusterated...Thanks.

What do you mean you can't see your profile? You can't visit the URL: http://thesandtrap.com/user/theowl/ ? Seven days of membership and 10 posts and you get a signature. I know that... Clarify, and if there's still an issue, I can file an appropriate bug. Also, see the "how to report a bug" thread, please.

You joined December 20. That's more than 7 days ago, and you have more than ten posts.

Can you see the URL I posted or not? Could you please submit a bug report using the format I suggested? http://thesandtrap.com/forum/thread/43122/submitting-bugs-with-the-site

    • I’m not sure I’m following you. My current plan is to take the bunkers out of play completely and hit something like a 6i to 130-150 range.
    • Day 139- Slow, swings with short practice club.
    • You might want to try a can of Bar Keepers Friend. Yes, it is abrasive, so just wet a sponge and dab it on. It has oxalic acid (no bleach like "Comet" kitchen cleanser), and it works wonders on stainless steel and other metals. Try it on a small area first to see what happens.
    • Fair   My uneducated thought: the big miss is the penalty area. If you want to optimize score, missing into the bunker (likely 5) is better than missing right into the penalty (possible 6). With that, your strategy seems sound and if you hit a committed shot, you get a bunker 5% of the time, take your medicine and hopefully get a putt for par but accept bogey. You may find yourself in a penalty situation 2-3% of the time and accept the associated outcome. The vast majority of the time though you are giving yourself a good approach shot into the green.
    • I walk 30 mins a day on my lunch break. It is not very intense (since i dont want to get sweaty in my work clothes), so just a touch above leisurely. 3 days a week I walk on the treadmill for 60 mins. I alternate the incline from 4 to 10 for a couple minutes, once every ten minutes. I lift my kettlebells nearly everyday. I have a couple complex routines. I find just 15 minutes and my heart rates is elevated
