Nice shot! I still haven't figured out how posting a clip to gamer net works. Anyone know if we can create our own subset there, just containing gamer net clips posted by TST members?

I just got this game... I know way behind the times. But I wait till these things go on sale.

Anyway, how do I beat the first challenge against that guy in match play?

Ive shot a birdy-par-par-birdy-par and lost. He never misses a putt and always averages 1 putt per green. How do you beat that?

In the career before you select to start the tournament you can do a "training challenge" and a "sponsor challenge" this is the first training challenge on the first event of the AM Tour.

This game gets pretty easy once you get your stats up a little bit. I shot a 59, 58 in the tournament before the masters and got into the top 100, then shot a 60, 60 at The Masters.....putting is the only thing that can be hard.

If it gets too easy just bump up the difficulty level.

Have you checked your difficulty? Those challenges were all pretty easy, except I remember one specific early one that was pretty tricky. Not as hard as what you described, though.

I bought the game a week ago and started on Tour Pro level. Pretty tough. I've made it to the PGA Tour but am having a helluva time scoring low enough to be in contention. My average score is 75! I like the difficulty though. Putting is killing me. I've missed a ton of 2-foot "tap ins".

I bought the Eagle package DLC - but I'm holding out hope for EA to bring more real-life courses. I want to play Congressional. I think it's pretty lame to leave that out of this year's offering. Pebble Beach is fun but it's the most played out video game course in history (I remember Pebble Beach Golf Links on Nintendo!).

I bought the Predator. It's good. Really hard, bordering on unfair, the first few times you play it but once you get the hang of it you can break par.

i bought emerald dragon on a whim, i would not recommend it, it is unnecessarily hard.  depending on pin locations, some of the holes are seriously impossible to putt on

I've held off buying the extra courses on hopes that they'd go on sale this week for the Open. I guess not. Considering buying the Birdie pack anyway. Anyone more experienced with video games have suggestions?

Will you get your money's worth? I bought every course available for a total of 36 courses. I play almost every day so to me it was worth it.

my software is version 3.6   I purchased my PS3 and got Tiger 12 in the purchase. I have my pro tour card for passing Q school but don't qualify to play the first event. the Champions Cup.  I've completed all the Master Moments.Mastering about half of them.  All the walkthroughs just assume you can play the pro  tour.  I'm just playing on the Mastering the different courses to keep playing.  I need help.  Do I have to be on line?

    • I agree with @pganapathy about removing some clubs. I would recommend removing the 2, 3, 4 and 5 irons for now. Play with Driver 3W 5W 3H 5H 6 iron 7 iron 8 iron 9 iron PW ( you don’t have listed) 52 56 Putter Th 60 wedge can be difficult for new players, but you could keep that If your 3H is adjustable, increased the loft to be more like a 4H. Play with these on course and see if you can get a feel of the actual yardages for each club and especially the gaps between them. It may take 10 or more rounds. A par 3 course is helpful for determining the gaps in the irons and some woods too. A device like a Shot Scope H4 can really help give you your actual yardage on course.
