How should I spend $150 in store credit?

So I have roughly $150 in store credit at my local golf shop. I currently don't NEED anything golf related, but at the same time it is almost burning a hole in my pocket. I've got a set of clubs I really like, plenty of decent golf balls, gloves, etc.

If you were in a similar position, what would you consider buying for yourself? Keep in mind 2011 will be my first season as a handicapped golfer, and I'm looking to top the 75+ rounds I played last year, and play in some local tournaments, etc.

The only clubs I'm even halfway considering is possibly a 23* hybrid to swap out the 4 iron for, but I don't really need it because I hit my 4 iron just fine, or possibly a whole new set of wedges, both of which will cost more than my store credit.

If it were me .... I'd go for clothes in that situation - or maybe a rain suit.

Clothes, shoes, and clubs! Oh my! What a good problem to have. You can solve your problem by just sending me you $150 in credit. Haha, just get whatever you need the most.

If the credit doesn't expire....wait.

Clubs have a way of breaking, shoes have a way of wearing out, etc. I'd wait till I needed it.

If I had to spend the money, I'd probably go get as many square-grooved wedges as I could before they aren't around.

I'm definitely sitting on it for now. Once the season gets rolling up here, I'm sure I will find something I need, rather than something I want. I am thinking seriously about getting a push-cart, though.

I would get  few lessons.  I have no idea what you shoot to, but unless you are on the Tour, I would think we all can use lessons.  Short game is where it is at, and the best way to drop your scores (IMO).  I have been going to Golftec for 1 month (1 lesson per week) and my swing is so much better.  My index last year got to about a 5, but I have lost that mojo and probably playing more like an 8.  I am convinced my new swing will get be back to 5, or less!

I always thought my swing was decent, until i saw it on video and saw frame by frame.  UGLY.

BTW, I have $200 in golf store credit and don't really need anything, but man it is burning a hole in my w.  Thinking of a new cart bag with 14 individual slots.  Perhaps the 2011 Sun Mountain C130 will replace my Ogio Grom.

Golf rangefinders are the biggest rip offs in the world.

Go get a hunting range finder for $90 and keep the $150 for other stuff.

Waiting out the 2 feet of snow that just dropped on the course....

I just got the bushnell V2 and love it.. I've only got two rounds with it before the snow came but it was already a big help... Its really the best for approach shots.. Before I would hit it flush and still be thirty forty feet away becasue gps gave me center of green..

I don't know if the hunting rangefinders can lock in on the pin like my V2 so I can't comment...But you would improve greatly with a rangefiner.

I went to the range the week before last, even though I took it easy no significant pain occurred just a slight twinge when I swung my #4 hybrid. The most encouraging news was no soreness the next morning. However I think switching back to graphite shafts is definitely gonna happen, my mp15's were fitted with X shafts and having something lighter will help.
