Sergio is done in fact I'd be shocked if he even wins again period as oppose to a major. He has tons of talent and I would love to see him make another run but I just don't think his heart is into it anymore. I hope I'm wrong but in my opinion I just don't see the passion for golf in him anymore.

He may win the Two Bob Castellón Classic at his own club in the future, but I can't see him winning a tournament with a strong field. And Montgomerie has more chance of winning a major than Sergio.

Tour golf has turned into a job for him. Let's see how long that lasts.

Went to the Transition Championship Sunday and followed Chris Couch most of the day...being a G15 fan (see sig) it is just cool to see a Pro playing what you play...I was able to get up close to his sticks quite a few times (at the range and on the course) and they do not appear to have a special grind or anything...they look just like mine...it appeared he had "non stock" shafts (probably X100's) but other then that they are pretty much stock and he had 3-PW...I will aslo let you know that I recenlty talked to the PING rep in this area and he told me that they have eight staff players around the world actually playing G15 irons and when I said yeah but they probably have them altered he said really the only adjustment they will make is lie and loft...he said that PING will not play around with the offset...which is what you would think would bother the Pro's the most???

Anyway let me tell you that Couch is one hell of a ball striker with the irons...he appeared to struggle off the tee a bit and with his putting a bit but with a tie for 5th he did very well.  I am a fade bias player (like Couch) and the G15 just makes a ton of sense for that type of swing as we are not going to hit it left so the offset only helps us from fading it too much...great sticks and I have a new favorite on tour (3 top tens already this year)...

TEE - XCG6, 13º, Matrix Ozik HD6.1, stiff
Wilson Staff - Ci11, 3-SW, TX Fligthed, stiff

Odyssey - Metal X #7, 35in

Wilson Staff - FG Tour ball

    • Yea, it seems clear that if it isn’t marked or set by the committee it’s in bounds. Now, should you go trespassing to hit a ball. 😉

    • I'd agree if you removed Scheffler. The best players in the world, by a mile, leading by four shots before Sunday isn't a dream setup for drama and entertainment.
    • It was here, too, and I'll link to a few topics and posts, including one of yours in which I got this all wrong. Which is why it's one of the questions I've asked about 10+ different USGA people. 😄  Including Thomas Pagel, Kathryn Belanger, and others. This topic below (from which I took a few of the quotes above) devolved into a discussion of unmarked OB: And, I came to learn that I was wrong about my stance in that, which is pretty much what you seem to now be saying.
