When I tried to watch the par 3 contest earlier at work it kept crashing both chrome and IE. I haven't tried again since but I certainly will tomorrow.

Working beautifully for the last 45 mins or so.... im using  IE and a very basic setup with just a decent high speed connection.  Nothing fancy at all.  The family computer.

Egg salad sammies (don't have, can't make pimento cheese) and a big bowl of stove popped popcorn.  Enormous Gin and tonic with a splash of grapefruit juice.  I should be doing laundry but screw that.

Windows and Firefox over a T-1 line at work.  No problems with the leaderboard and live video feeds, although when I would open a feed and watch for awhile, my computer's fans would kick into high gear and it got to the point that I thought a plane was taking off from my desk!

I'm getting script error with every browser (Chrome, Firefox, Opera and IE), and only IE is not slowed down or crashes when trying to load the page. On Opera the features doesn't work at all. It's pretty ridiculous that such a big event with loads of money are not able to conjure up something better. The page is fancy with all the animations and stuff, but they didn't do a good job on the coding.

Works fine for me, I just hate the opening sequence and the scoreboard absolutely sucks.

Last year they changed the background every day with really great shots of the players and the course. I pulled a couple of them, and they made some really great backgrounds for my laptop. This year they kept the same one the whole time. In that way, last year was better.

    • Thanks! I’ll try to drill out I like the idea of feeling pressure on your thumb. I’ve read the article multiple times. I was doing the armpit drill in attempt to stop getting my right arm behind my shirt seam.
    • Anyone else played here?   I’ve wanted to come here since the late 90s, and I’m on the first family vacation where I’ve brought my golf clubs.   I’ve only played one of the courses, but really liked it.  Oleander.   Jekyll is an island off the Georgia coast, pretty far south.  They have 3, 18 hole courses, and a 9 hole.   The 3 18 hole courses all meet at the same clubhouse from what I’ve seen so far.
    • “Yes, I’m vaccinated,” says NBA legend Charles Barkley. “Everybody should be vaccinated. Period.” “The only people who are not vaccinated are just assholes,” he says. The 58-year-old NBA Hall-of-Famer says he personally thinks sports leagues should force players to get vaccinated. “Can you imagine if one of these guys that are not vaccinated, if they get one of these players’ kids, wives, girlfriends, moms and dads sick and they die over some unnecessary conspiracy bullshit,” Barkley says. “I think that would be tragic.” NBA legend Charles Barkley: ‘The only people who are not vaccinated are just a--holes' NBA legend Charles Barkley on whether sports leagues should require athletes to get vaccinated.   He was (properly) given a trolling warning by our moderator while I was driving to State College. So he won’t be posting for a little while. You can have your own opinion. You don’t get your own reality, though. And there’s only so much stupid and selfishness we can take here. • If he changes his mind, I’ve lined up some resources.
    • I’ve played several times on courses where my ball striking was really good and then the greens were either really slow, or rough, and it clearly kept me from going lower.   One time, years ago, I played on a wide open course with huge greens.   But they were slow as anything.  Hit 13 greens and putted horribly because they were like high carpet.
