Aqua, as I'm sure you know the Tour players will play whoever pays the most. The top 7 players all use different equipment and could change tomorrow and it wouldn't make much difference. Nothing against TM, I like their stuff too, just not because they sign a lot of tour players to contracts.

World Rankings:
1. Tiger - Nike
2. Phil - Callaway
3. Vijay - Cleveland
4. Retief - Taylor Made
5. Furyk - Srixon
6. A.Scott - Titleist
7. G.Ogilby - Cobra

Oh, and only Phil and Adam Scott use "One Company's Clubs".

I Cant see past Titleist, the Pro v1 is the best ball ever made, the putters r great feel and weight, wedges r so good and easy to get spin off of the drivers r true and long, and the irons r just so easy to hit, callaway suck there heads on the drivers r round and the irons r awful

World Rankings:

That's not true. Because either you have to consider that Odyssey is owned by Callaway (to include Phil) or you have to consider that Ogilvy uses all Titleist/Cobra/Cameron stuff, which is all "the same company" too.

And Vijay is 100% Cleveland, I believe, with his Never Compromise putters.

You're right on Ogilvy using "One Parent Company's Clubs (I've always associated Odyssey with Callaway). But as far as I know Vijay still carries a Callaway fairway wood (5 wood according to www.thegolfchannel.com "What's In The Bag") and I think he swaps out his 3 wood sometimes as well.

next time don't hold back, tell us how you really feel about it

But seriously - isn't it very subjective matter? Everybody's swing is different, everybody's esthetics are different - from look to sound. Live and let live dude. Who cares - if it works for you - fine, don't try to get everybody to like the same thing - that's how the biggest wars in the history got created

I am a club junkie, which isn't easy for a natural leftie. I currently have Cleveland, Maxifli, Titleist, Tommy Armour wedges and irons. I have noticed some different tendencies between brands. The TA's are loooonnnnggg. The Titleist 990's are accurate to a fault. The Maxifli Revolution's are my favorites, but just plain worn out. I am retiring them and trying to decide if my primary set will be the TA's or the Titleists.

It is not that I believe TM is the best, but they have clubs in every category I could be comfortable with. I rarely like the irons, woods, wedges, and putters from any one company at the same time. Actually I am considering buying Wilson Ci6's. I recently played some demos and was very impressed.

Titleist has Cameron putters, Vokey wedges, and great irons. I'm not as fond of the fairway woods and drivers, however if I had to choose one company, it would have to be Titleist.

There is no way I could play clubs from one company, but I did pick TM as I like their drivers and love their woods. I could probably live their putters and irons, I am just not sure about thier hybrids or wedges.

Surely the clubs that you use, depends on each persons game and what their strengths and weaknesses are.

A 24 handicapper like myself might prefer to go with all Taylormade or Callaway products because they might suit my game better than all PING or Titleist equipment.

I would go with Taylormade, as I already use a Rescue and RAC OS irons , would love a new R5 , but can't afford it at the moment. I like the look of their AGSI insert putters and their new Y-Cutter wedges look pretty decent too.

To complete the package I would use TP Red balls and Tour 360 Adidas shoes.

As much as I love my Mizuno Irons. I'd have to go with Taylor Made . Their woods are head and shoulders above the rest. The new TP line of RAC Irons are pretty good and comparable to Mizuno. I think Erik would attest to that. Their irons used to be their weak point. They've really imporved. The new Rossa putter I could live with. I'm not sure, maybe its the bore through shafts, but I don't like how Titleist and Callaway woods feel. I really like the Titleist 690MB irons but couldn't live with the woods. I don't like Callaway Irons at all. The top line looks like I'm swinging with a shovel.

My second choice would be Ping . Their putters, the s-59 Irons, and I'll live with the G5 driver. Their MB wedges are pretty good.

I'll go with Hogan...

Just picked up a Carnoustie 52 04 gap wedge and just love it.

They don't make putters? Woods not so good? Who cares, I'll put with the wedge...

(If I had a job and made money, I'd go all Titleist--including the bag and balls just for the cool factor !)

I'll go with Hogan...

Hogan have putters made by Bettinardi, and their woods aren't that bad these days considering they are now part of Callaway.

I use one of their 3 woods and it's great.

I'd go with Taylor Made. Most of the clubs in my bag are TM and I just bought an R7 460 and a TM Dual Hybrid (the hybrid was free). My irons and wedges are already TM. Basically the only things that are not TM are my fairway woods, which are really old Cobras (I love my old steel cobra 7-wood circa 1995), and my 2-ball putter.

For ME when I have shopped for clubs, when I find what feels right I always seem to have a TM in my hand. I suck at golf and I like TM. I wonder if that's a trend. I'd like to see if, in general, the better players prefer Titleist and those of us that suck prefer TM (and I picked those 2 because of perception and the fact that they have the most votes in the poll and seem to have generated the most discussion).

    • Day 364: About an hour and a half practice session. Spent most of it at the range. Did a solid 30 minutes of work on my priority piece, with filming. I think it's improving, but will probably check in on Evolvr to make sure. Then spent the last ~20 minutes putting, working mostly on short putts.

    • Day 79 (19 July 25) - Band rehearsal this morning - got home midafternoon, opted to work more with the magnetic alignment tool with the wedges.  Used it to work on face position at the bottom of the swing arc - followed up with easy pitches up to 50yds.  Seeing better face control and over improved accuracy toward target…session was cut short with pop up rain showers.
    • This is a great discussion. Other parts of the course where there are houses have white stakes and signs. This keeps people from trespassing and hitting shots on their property. There is another county road on the east side of the course that does not have white stakes like the hole I described. I checked the score card and there is nothing to indicate these roadways are OB. I think a county drainage ditch would be considered government right-of-way so it is the peoples land 🤣. But you are in the power industry and know more about those sorts of things than me.
    • Day 3: Worked on backswing. Feel: Matt Wolff, Real: Not yanking it inside and getting it laid off and flat at the top.
