I just buy clothes that are comfortable and look like how I want them to. I just got a Slazenger shirt; it's the first product of their's I've ever owned. I also have a Titleist ProV1 visor, but I don't play anything Titleist besides wedges, and I got those after the visor. However, I dislike clothing with a specific model of equipment on it, like how hats and visors always have the brand's leading product line and/or ball for the year. It's one thing to wear a company logo -- that just says "I like their clothing enough to exchange legal tender for it" and, IMO, says nothing about a correlation with your equipment -- but wearing an ad for a product line you don't play seems weird. Who would want to play Callaway, but advertise Taylormade? I wish they'd just slap a logo on it and forget about the product. I suppose they do it, though, because that's what the pros wear and they're selling to people who want to look like the pros. In short: I see no need to relate the company who makes your clothing and those who make your clubs, but I think it's weird when your clothing advertises equipment models, especially when you don't play them. Those I steer clear of.

There are tons of hats a visors outhere withou the specific model of equipment. If all you can find are hats like that, you aren't looking very hard.
