It's great to see young players on the top of the leaderboard at the Buick this weekend!

Tiger will have more and more fierce competition at future events!

I believe that we will all benefit from this, with more and more incredible shots and memorable Golf tournaments!

What's your opinion on this new generational wave?

Do you think older (uhm... sorry the word.... let's say..."more seasoned and experienced") players will be able to adapt to this new era?

Let me reiterate what I said in the thread I started. Yes, these kids all have unbelievable amounts of physical talent. They all hit it a mile, have great short games and can putt lights out.............until the chips are down. In case you haven't noticed no sub 30 players have been able to keep the wheels from falling off in the last round of a tournament this year. So let me tally the scores 40 somethings 2 wins, 30 somethings 2 wins, 20 somethings 3 chokes down the stretch. Of course the younger players will inevitably win some tournaments, but to me it seems with all the physical ablilties they possess they should challenge more often. The older guys have what the younger kids don't IMHO a good game between the ears.

Tiger has won the Buick again!

It seems that there is no one who can stop him!

I don't care if the younger players can get to his level of play... but we have a lack of personality!

We need some new young player, aggressive and cocky in every part of the game and comments, who can compete on the same level of mentality!

I think the younger players like Brandt Snedecker will push Tiger and some of the other tour Vets like Phil, ViJay and others to perform better as they will know that they will have some new blood waiting to take over.

I think after a few more weeks you won't even remember Snedeker.
The cream will rise to the top. Look for Furyk, Phil, Vijay,Goosen and Els to continue to push Tiger. All of them will fail except for Furyk.

I'd say that Jeff Quinney is showing a pretty strong hand so far, at the Hope he aced the 17th, had already eagled an earlier hole, and missed the playoff by a stroke, then at the Buick he comes up just short. He is a great putter and that will enable him to do well on Tour. He already has 6 eagles in 13 rounds,(1st on tour) 34th in putting, is 4th in par 3 performance, 12th in par 5 performance, and all his stats are pretty strong, no weak areas. I'm going to start paying attention to him.
