I like Yani to win but it's not really going out on a limb. I would like to see Kerr, Creamer, and Petterson in the mix. Someone needs to step up to the female Tiger in the making!

Good call on Wie. She could dominate with her length. FWIW, I'm going with Stacy Lewis.

Was watching it today. Kinda boring. Weather delays, previously recorded play. Not much flow to the broadcast. No big names near the top, well Miyazato I suppose is a big name, and mini Kim I.K. But no Tseng, Wie, Petterson. Beautiful setting though!

Yeah it's a shame because if the weather held out and one big name could make a run it would have been a good watch. Although I don't know for a fact but I've heard it's common for thunderstorms to pop up quite often in colorado this time of year. Now even if a big name makes a run it won't draw much attention with a monday finish. The course looks awesome though I'm sure it would be a nice round.

They're used to the really easy courses and they even play those slowly. Put them on a more difficult course with green speeds above 9 and a little undulation and you get... this.

They're going to finish today, though they didn't regroup after the third round, so the leaders are all over the place. A couple of Koreans are at the top, Kerr and Stanford carrying the American banner right there with them, the Miyazatos having bad third rounds but still in it, Park, Webb and Creamer not far behind, and Yang, Shin, and Tseng making big runs up the leaderboard early on.

Did I say they were going to finish? Just as I did, the storms returned to the Broadmoor, and there will be a Monday finish after all. It's not going to be a very exciting one, either, as Hee Kyung Seo, the leader at 3-under, is already in the clubhouse, and only three players have any realistic chance of catching her. Fellow Korean So Yeon Ryo is at 2-under with three holes to play, Cristie Kerr is 1-under with two holes to play, and Angela Stanford is at even par with four holes to play. All signs point to a Women's Open champion being crowned without playing a single stroke tomorrow, which is the absolute worst case scenario that could be envisioned for the USGA and the LPGA Tour. The ladies can't buy a good break these days, and that really sucks.

    • This drill will help more for that. Try and keep the right elbow from bending more than 90 degrees too.
    • The numbers are ticking up for daily vaxxing, from what I read.  So that’s some good news.   My wife and I can’t wait for the under 12 to be approved.   It drives us crazy that non-vaxxed adults are doing whatever they want with their kids while we mostly keep ours home and limit contact with people until it’s safer. My wife said there was a long line at Walgreens yesterday for people getting the vaccine.   Fingers crossed.
    • Thanks! I’ll try to drill out I like the idea of feeling pressure on your thumb. I’ve read the article multiple times. I was doing the armpit drill in attempt to stop getting my right arm behind my shirt seam.
    • Anyone else played here?   I’ve wanted to come here since the late 90s, and I’m on the first family vacation where I’ve brought my golf clubs.   I’ve only played one of the courses, but really liked it.  Oleander.   Jekyll is an island off the Georgia coast, pretty far south.  They have 3, 18 hole courses, and a 9 hole.   The 3 18 hole courses all meet at the same clubhouse from what I’ve seen so far.
    • “Yes, I’m vaccinated,” says NBA legend Charles Barkley. “Everybody should be vaccinated. Period.” “The only people who are not vaccinated are just assholes,” he says. The 58-year-old NBA Hall-of-Famer says he personally thinks sports leagues should force players to get vaccinated. “Can you imagine if one of these guys that are not vaccinated, if they get one of these players’ kids, wives, girlfriends, moms and dads sick and they die over some unnecessary conspiracy bullshit,” Barkley says. “I think that would be tragic.” NBA legend Charles Barkley: ‘The only people who are not vaccinated are just a--holes' NBA legend Charles Barkley on whether sports leagues should require athletes to get vaccinated.   He was (properly) given a trolling warning by our moderator while I was driving to State College.
