I've got a Scotty Cameron Pro Platinum... Last round had 24 putts, and a 71, no complaints.

... I picked up an Odyssey Black series #2 that I used for about 3 days... Put the Cameron right back in the bag... I'll never putt with anything else but a Cameron.

I play a TPi-27. Pros are: Center shaft (can't really deal with anything else), really toned down, sort of retro no frills appearance and a really heavy feel. Can't really think of any cons, I guess that's why I still hang on to it!

i basically spent days trying out different putters...trying out each putter from 5ft, 10ft and 15ft...and i found that i was much more consistent with mallet style putters....

than i considered the weight of the putter....testing out putters of various weight....found that light to medium weight was my cup of tea...

top came out to be:

first place: mizuno bettinardi milled black carbon bc3 - $250...

second place: odyssey white hot xg #5 and the rossie - $120...

third place: titleist scotty cameron red x charcoal mist - $300...

i ended up getting the mizuno bettinardi bc3 ....the odyssey and mizuno offered pretty much identical yields in accuracy, consistency and comfort....the scotty was bit on the "heftier" side and appeared little more difficult to control the accuracy....i went with the mizuno because the bettinardi was just so "beautiful" and a real work of art compared to all...

i don't think there is a "right" putter for all...and found odyssey seems to make a comparable putter for almost all brands out on the market...if you want to spend less...and looking at the poll..i think it shows odyssey will give you the best bang for your buck when it comes to putters.....

I currently use the Odyssey Dual Force Series 2 #1. Got it up at PGA Superstore while I was looking for something to blow a gift card on. Was trying out various putters there, and sunk my first putt from about 20 feet. It felt like MONEY; so, I bought it right then. Now, I'm wanting the Odyssey White Hot 2 ball. COME ON CHRISTMAS!!!

Current: Ping Ug-Le 34"

Others i have used: TM Rossa Mezza Monza and Odyssey #7 White hot XG

From my own personal experience, I shifted to a center shafted, face balance putter about 1 year ago purely due to the realization that a straight back and through putting stoke was by far more consistent than the more traditional opening and closing door putter strokes. As a result, more accurate distance control and accuracy.

If you are in the market for a center shafted mallet style putter, you cannot go past this baby. Excellent putter ++++

Well, I started out this year with an Odyssey White hot XG #3, and just lost confidence in it so I picked up a Never Compromise Voodoo, now I have a Taylor Made Rossa Monza, and I just bought a used Scotty Cameron Style Studio 2. It just feels better than all the other ones, so hopefully that's it.

They don't actually make the club I want, I own an Odyssey White Steel Two Ball but I wish it had markings on the White Hot model (it has a center line painted on it missing on the WS). I keep thinking about doing it myself carefully...

Ok, and the dream club would be that club but with a Yes! face on it. And maybe it could magically transform into a long putter when I wanted too? :D

I recently purchased a 32" TM Rossa Corzina. I had an Odyssey White Steel 2-ball that I just couldn't get use to. In all fairness the putter was too long for me, but I absolutely love my new putter.

    • However, have you ever considered using small summer houses for such setups? They offer a great solution for creating dedicated practice areas, especially for an affluent audience looking to enhance their outdoor living space.
    • I've played Bali Hai, Bear's Best and Painted Desert. I enjoyed Bali Hai the most--course was in great shape, friendly staff and got paired in a great group. Bear's Best greens were very fast, didn't hold the ball well (I normally have enough spin to stop the ball after 1-2 hops).  The sand was different on many holes. Some were even dark sand (recreation of holes from Hawaii). Unfortunately I was single and paired with a local "member" who only played the front 9.  We were stuck behind a slow 4-some who wouldn't let me through even when the local left. Painted Desert was decent, just a bit far from the Strip where we were staying.

    • Honestly, unless there's something about that rough there that makes it abnormally penal or a lost ball likely, this might be the play. I don't know how the mystrategy cone works, but per LSW, you don't use every shot for your shot zones. In that scatter plot, you have no balls in the bunker, and 1 in the penalty area. The median outcome seems to be a 50 yard pitch. Even if you aren't great from 50 yards, you're better off there than in a fairway bunker or the penalty area on the right of the fairway. It could also be a strategy you keep in your back pocket if you need to make up ground. Maybe this is a higher average score with driver, but better chance at a birdie. Maybe you are hitting your driver well and feel comfortable with letting one rip.  I get not wanting to wait and not wanting to endanger people on the tee, but in a tournament, I think I value playing for score more than waiting. I don't value that over hurting people, but you can always yell fore 😆 Only thing I would say is I'm not sure whether that cone is the best representation of the strategy (see my comment above about LSW's shot zones). To me, it looks like a 4 iron where you're aiming closer to the bunker might be the play. You have a lot of shots out to the right and only a few to the left. Obviously, I don't know where you are aiming (and this is a limitation of MyStrategy), but it seems like most of your 4 iron shots are right. You have 2 in the bunker but aiming a bit closer to the bunker won't bring more of your shots into the bunker. It does bring a few away from the penalty area on the right.  This could also depend on how severe the penalties are for missing the green. Do you need to be closer to avoid issues around the green?  It's not a bad strategy to hit 6 iron off the tee, be in the fairway, and have 150ish in. I'm probably overthinking this.
