I'm so nervous for Tiger.  The longer he waited to get healthy, the higher the expectations got about how he'll play upon his return.  If he purports to be 100%, we will once again, more or less, expe

My grand scheme is apparently of a much larger scope than yours.

You are confusing the hell out of me lol. Certainly it won't matter much for Tiger's career but if he were to win this week after so long off and just him being who he is I think that media will treat

oh man, i so want tiger to do well.  hes been out for way too long, and way too long without winning.  GO TIGER!!!  I LOVE YOU MAN!!!!

has anyone noticed how much more bent over he is at address?  I was thinking that he was a little too upright back at the masters for this new swing and it looks like he's corrected that in the clips on golf channel.

yep, thanks for the video.  In addition to being a little more bent over at address..his shoulder plane is a little steeper now and his left arm is almost on exactly the same plane.  It's what we saw at the masters but more refined essentially.

These views aren't exactly the same so the comparison isn't perfect, but his swing isn't all that different at all from before the injury. At least his posture and his shoulder. Should be interesting.

I always liked the little rivalry they had.  I miss it.  You could tell from press conferences that they didn't like each other.  I just want to see Tiger compete again.  It's just not the same without him competing.

FIR's -  This is what Tiger needs.  He's great at getting out of trouble, but not after a long layoff.  230yd hooks around trees are not what you want to be doing after not playing for so long.  I'm sure he's been practicing chips and putts enough.

Seems like Phil has lost his edge since Tiger dropped off the earth, I always like that rivalry myself.

    • An ethic that casts working with a 102.4 fever and a major headache as good and righteous seems incredibly backwards to me. Also counterproductive. People with a 102.4 fever and a major headache are doing terrible work at their jobs, no matter how much they pretend otherwise to themselves.

    • Day 245: Long practice day today. Spent 1.5 hours at the range working on my new pieces and also some partial wedge shots. The short game area had a clinic, so I went to a nearby course and did about an hour of chipping, pitching, sand a putting. In the afternoon, I filmed my drills with driver and six iron.
    • Exactly. We’ve almost got to the point where people leave Walter Hagen and Sam Snead out of these conversations. I think it’s about trying to present yourself as a  someone unconvinced by fads - like the idea that a spring chicken like Tiger could possibly be as good as someone who competed against 20 amateurs a century ago.
