The Vivendi Seve Throphy is really cool, I will of course cheer for Continental Europe even because my friend Matteo is contending, but I really hope the main theme will be celebrating the legend of Seve! Cheers! :)

They weren't overly impressive together at the Ryder Cup last year. He's probably thinking they're a little too used to each other and it might help to spice things up. Francesco and Hansen just won their match so it looks like it's working.

Matteo has never played in the Ryder Cup (yet)

Dude GB&I; played fantastic golf! I saw the highlights of round one on the Euro Tour website and there was not much to show about Continentals! I think putting Matteo with Colsaert, 2 rookies together, is not the best choice imho... we'll see tomorrow!

I really like the spirit of this tournament!

Better start for the Continentals today, really hope the third day will start with a tie so that it will be a really nice ending of the tournament! Go Manny!!

    • Secured a par at my home course's hole #17 today.  I am not happy with how long it took me to get better than bogey on it.  I hit a poor tee shot, a good recovery punch shot, then a sweeping hook 6-iron to the green.  I correctly read that the lie and setup would hook, aimed well left of the green, and swung.  Big hook, ended on the left side of the green, 15' from the pin, and I darn near made the birdie putt too. Speaking of which, I gave a par at #s 7 and 9 a good run today too.  Still no birdies at my home course this year! 😞
    • There was a professional football team called the [New York] Guardians fairly recently.
    • When I was doing fittings for Ping this past spring I had one customer come with his printout from Club Champion.  He was an average golfer pushing 70 years old.  The shafts they wanted to use, I never heard of before but each one for fw and driver were over $400.  Again… I have never heard of the name.  It goes with what Adam said about them using shafts not available from the mfg so you can’t get it through them instead. Ended up fitting him into Ping stock offerings that worked very well for him.  Happy customer!
    • I couldn’t afford to be a collector!  I do have a Newport TEi3 that was given to me all beat up.  I sent it to BOS and had it refinished back to original. At the moment I was given a Mizuno M-100 putter with the rare Mizuno “M” stamp on the bottom.  It belonged to a friend who passed away.  He played very little and this putter is very rusted as is the head.  I want to sell it.  I started selling it on FB Marketplace but everyone was such a PITA about it🙄 I ended doing nothing for now.  I was too busy to answer every stupid question that they didn’t want to look up.  I had Scotty customer service answer a few questions and I think it pissed people off because it proves them unknowledgeable.
