Holy crap, sacm3bill. Joe feels the same way you do....

How is this one gonna end?

This is great we get to test this theory out on the very next episode.

Whewww! What a show! Glad Julien pulled it out. He is coming on strong as a contender. His golf speaks for itself.

I, like others have posted, am getting tired of Mark. He has turned into a whiner.

I do like the way the season is progressing as far as the fairness of the competition. All the players are being tested with challenges that require all around golf skill.

I felt that last season didn't challenge all the players equally. Some were really able to dodge bullets with weak challenges.

I'm not sure Joe really wanted the challenge of playing Julien or if he was acting like a gentleman by not challenging a girl when he knew she was down.  From a strategic standpoint it was a poor decision all around as he's not only out of the competition but his team is much weaker now.

I have nothing bad to say about Joe's decision.  I don't think Julien was mentally prepared to be facing elimination.  What I don't understand is the need to hit driver on an obvious 3 shot hole.

This was my thought, as well.  Especially after he snapped one at the end of the elimination challenge.  Oh well, now Joe will have more time to re-read Hogan's book on how NOT TO GO LEFT!

+1

Julien was def not prepared for the challenge.  He had to get his mind in it.  Joe.....what were ya thinkin', bro?  One shot lead going into last hole.  Hit your three metal....shoot, hit a hybrid and get on in reg.  After his yanked shot in the challenge it showed that the pressure situation causes this miss. Sorry to see him go.  Nina was playing the worst of the bunch but with dumb mistakes like that Joe probably still would have gone home.

What is annoying me this season is the player's thin skin.  Many are easily put off/offended by the comments of others.  I know some of it is the editing but Mark got ticked when the other team cheered his choke shot which kept them in it and ultimately they won the challenge in a previous show.  Last night they got miffed when Nina basically said she giftwrapped the challenge for them (which is pretty much true).  There have been numerous other instances.  They need to get over it and play golf.  But guess it wouldn't make for good TV.  Crybabys.

My favorite thing about the show is its location. My wife & I watch it and have pretty much convinced ourselves that a trip to Ireland is totally doable.

my get up and go musta got up and went..

+1 yet again. He's never going at that well protected green in two, especially in those conditions. What was he thinking? I guess he wasn't.

I feel the same way. It's been standard golf throughout, or as close as Big Break can make it. Indian Wells was too slanted toward the short game.

No circle chalk. No 1/2 stroke advantage in elimination. Nobody has been eliminated simply via hitting it closer to the hole. You have to hole out.

I didn't even mind the larger cup because it was introduced early and there was an obvious reason for it -- feasibility of chipping into the hole in a low number of attempts. They might have been filming all day with a standard sized cup.

I wonder if they'll automatically let Zoolander in for the next season since he got sick.

He has definitely hit two great long-iron shots over the past two episodes...both resulting in eagles.

I have no doubt that Nicole has the talent to have a very fine LPGA career, but in my opinion her head was in a bad place in the last episode.  She was totally unable to take it 1 shot at a time.  She had an opportunity to keep her team alive and failed to do so prior to elimination, because she had already given up.  She then went into elimination completely underestimating Nina.  In a 2 hole elimination, ANYTHING can happen.  The inability to recognize this is a troubling aspect of her game.

It's been a good season.  Pulling for Mallory and Julien.

I agree.  Man, I don't know of any other show with more commercials.  On top of that they replay what happened before each commercial break after that break.  I like the show, but there is about 6 minutes of actual golf in each episode.

    • Eh. He broke ONE of Tiger's records. Youngest to be ranked #1 in AJGA. It didn't help that Tiger's birthday is in late December, or that Tiger didn't play many AJGA events before he was 15. Did he do any of these things? • Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
    • Just stumbled onto the article.  Totally random and thought it might be interested to hear other thoughts. maybe I am tired of all the LIV crap and  this just caught my attention.
