Is that the noisiest golf course ever? Planes, trucks, crows, you name it.

Tiger looks good, although the cameraman could be picking cherries for all we know.

It sure is!

Also, it was basically a Nike commercial. Did you notice the way the cameraman zoomed in on the bottom of his bag at the end?!

I watched through 13 holes, and he looked pretty solid....only his driver was missing left every single time, but 3 wood was solid enough. He was striping the wood about 280,285 yds the whole day today.

And his short game was not too shabby either....evidenced by his par saves despite missing a few greens in regulation. There was beautiful flop shot at the Par 3 7th where he landed it to a foot to save par.

All in all, a solid round.

He spends way too much time on his full swing IMO.  I remember the 4 footer or so for eagle he missed at Augusta on Sunday in the heat of competition.  That was clear evidence that he hasn't been practicing it enough.  Luke's always been creeping towards the top because he's probably the best putter living.

    • But I still want to know how we can tell the vaccinated from the unvaccinated? Will the latter be wearing the letter "U"  on their chest?
    • My previous driver was a Callaway xr16, which was a very good driver for me. Whenever I tried adjusting to the draw position for some reason my drives went horrible. I would pull hook drives, have problems getting elevation on my drive, maybe it was all in my head or whatever but I just couldn't hit my driver in the draw bias setting. When I put it back into the neutral setting everything was great. My new Maverick Max driver I initially put it in the neutral setting and have never changed it out of that because of past experience, and it works so well for me as is. If I have driving issues I would try to work it out at the range or get some coaching and leave the adjustment in neutral. I really don't like that kind of attempt of getting help by adjusting a driver out of neutral.
    • As of 9am today Michigan has opened up most things for people that are vaccinated.   People that are fully vaccinated aren't required to wear a mask unless still required by the business.
    • I don’t get flu shots either. Interestingly only about 50% of the population do get flu shots. The efficacy of the flu shots generally runs about 50% each year as well as they try to predict the strain to target each year. I suspect if annual shots are required for Covid the compliance in terms of getting them every year will drop dramatically just as it has with the flu.  We’re likely to end up somewhere around 65% - 70% vaccinated for Covid this first go around.  I’d be surprised if it didn’t drop dramatically in subsequent years.  Time will tell... True. What one person believes to be “good enough” for them, may not be “good enough” for another.  I don’t disparage either one. It’s also true that some people simply and blindly do what others that they perceive to be in positions of authority tell them to do.  By the way, that’s not directed at anyone here.  It’s simply stated as a fact.
