Obama has a SOLID crossover and doesn't cheat at golf.

There's a whole 25-minute interview on iTunes. He all but guarantees a Bulls NBA championship by the time he's out of office. (Cue the guy who says "the Bulls better get to work, he's only got 11 months.")

Yes, the 3:00 minute mark is when he talks about counting all his strokes. Obama seems like a guy you'd like to have as a partner on the course or on a  team, even if you don't care for the other part...

I remember Bill Clinton and when he played golf ... Bill was known for taking multiple mulligans... but then, he is a bit of a prima donna.

Anyone read the book "First off the Tee"?  Clinton's cheating has been discussed so much I'd be surprised if any President after him took as much as a breakfast ball or an inside-the-leather gimme.

I wouldn't want to be in Obama's foursome.  Saw him playing at the Marine Base on Oahu a couple times.  They had half the course cordoned off, and a fleet of about 30 golf carts following them.  Looked really annoying.

Well, that's how any president is going to have to play these days. For that matter, it's like that anywhere he goes: you can't let just anyone walk right up to the leader of the free world... and a golf course is presumably a bit tougher to secure than most buildings. I agree it would be annoying to be in that foursome with all the distraction... but then again, if the president - this one, another one, regardless of party, whoever - invited me to play golf with him, I'd be there.

I would love to be in that foursome.  No one in front of you.  No one behind you.  Play at your pace.  Secret Service helping locate balls in the rough.  Debating with The President whether Bill Russell or Michael Jordan was the best player ever.  Heaven for me.

I don't think there is a an argument you can make for Russell.

I think the argument is 11 championships in 13 years, plus the lowest rebound per game total he ever had was 18.6 (highest was 24.7). I'm not saying I would make that argument, just that that's what it is.

Everyone has their own opinions but if I had to rank them it would be:

1. MJ

2. Wilt

3. Russell

4. Magic

5. Kareem

But I suppose it depends on how you definite "best player" (stats, championships)
