I just started last year (16) and I usually play 9 holes and shoot around a 45. I just played 18 holes for the first time and shot a 94 (par 71) which wasn't bad, but I wouldn't done a lot better if I didn't hit 3 balls out of play on the back 9 (the penalty strokes right there, plus more from anger)

68

Granted it was on a fairly easy executive course with a par of 61. Best score on my normal home course (par 72) was a 79.

75 (+3) from the tips (139 slope, 73.1 rating) at Lone Tree Golf Club in Colorado. With a double bogey on the last hole. Which was not enough to make the high school golf team.

73 (+1) in my club tournament last year, came with a lost ball that I still believe went into a gopher hole!  So it still feels like a 71

Wow.  Either your school has quite a few talented golfers, or the team was already chosen before tryouts.

Unfortunately there were three rounds for tryouts. Holes 2-54 I was a combined 11 over par. Hole 1 I shot 8 over par.

62 (-10) on probably the easiest course in Spain.

Best score on a Championship course: 64 (-8)

67. One eagle, six birdies and three bogeys. At the time my handicap was 7 and I was 4 something afterwards. It was one of those days when everything just clicked. Missed a 8 footer on the 18th for a 66. Before anyone asks...

6,650 yds, SSS 72.

The round I'm most proud of would be a 74 at PGA National (Champ Course) from tips.  Windy day.  Shot the Bear Trap in even par and had a birdie on 18.

I've had 2 +5 rounds, 75 and a 77. I think the 77 was on a bit more difficult course though, definitely longer.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

A 77 which I shot 8 years ago. Funny thing (actually not that funny) at the weekend I'm standing on the 18th needing a par 4 to shoot 76 and I blow my tee shot that far right (OB) it went into a new zip code. Ended up taking a 6 for 78. Great round just 1 bad drive.

79 twice - one was during a tournament and the other was during a casual round of golf. It actually didn't hit me until the last hole of the tournament. I had to shoot part on 18 to break 80. Luckily it was a par 5. Missed the green on my 3rd shot and had to do a long chip. Got it to within 6 feet and made that putt to save my 79.

Best Regards,
Ryan

I've only played three times the last two years, but my best score was an 89. I just inherited some COBRA AMP's so I hope that will change some things this coming year! I've been playing the same clubs since I was 14 (I'm 27 now) :)

    • Yea Club Rat said it. I really enjoyed the Senator and the Judge, then over to Grand National where there a couple good courses plus a fun par 3. The one I do play whenever I visit there is Ross Bridge; something about this course that is just good fun. I hope to play more of the courses in the future, but tomorrow is promised to no one, so hope is the key word. Have Fun, iSank

    • Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
