A kid I work with bought it off ebay for 50$. He is slamming balls. He hit about 230 with a peice of crap. This new peice of crap he is hitting about 255 on average. He hit my fusion ft-3 about 245 so i'm guessing it aint that much better. Plus its none conforming so when I play with him he gains a half a stroke every whole we bet on.

How many of you have ever been sucked into buying infomercial golf crap?

I bought a liquidmetal driver in 1998 or 1999. I got sucked into buying it late one night. I was amazed when I watched those ball bearings bounce off of the face.

Believe it or not, the driver actually hit the ball pretty good. People used to ask me about it at the driving range. I think I passed it on to my little brother. I think I will ask him about it and see how it hits now compared to the 460 cc drivers.

So, has anyone else been sucked into buying golf crap? How did it perform? What did you think?

Supposedly the F2's are actually pretty good clubs. I have read a couple of reviews on them in reputable magazines & they rate well.

The Hammer is a joke but I bet they have sold a ton of them. POW!

The Hammer has the best infomercials.

"He can hit the ball 400 yards. He could be on the pro tour if only he didn't five-putt".

I have one of those F2 wedges, but I bought it after demoing it at my local proshop, and not off TV. Although, had I not seen the infomercial, I might not have bothered picking it up. It's a really nice wedge, and one of my favorites.

seen the infomercial earlier today. did anyone noticed the guy in the white shirt (after the guy with long hair) completely whiff the ball. you can see if dribble off the tee and then he claims to have gained at least 50 yards over his other driver

This is definitely one of the worst infomercials ever produced!
This guy is a meniac. Did you notice his absolutely funny gestures? Then, they gave no infos about size of the head or the cor or moi!

But the best part of it, is seeing the people hit the ball and right after impact they turn around without seeing their ball land and say whoa, the longest drive i ever hit! Cool is also the old guy who says the same and had sky-rocketed the ball so bad!

That was his tee. However, the fact remains, I bet Jack Hamm's IQ is about 85, and the whole infomercial is an insult to intelligence everywhere.

Nothing in the swing is done at the expense of balance.

the hammer is a good club but not as good as the t-rex

Lol, have you seen some of the other stuff on that website like the Air Wedge and the Dr Feel Good Putter. Sounds more like a pornstar, and probably less effective. The logix tennis racket just confuses me. Why would anyone buy any of this?

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

I'm not going to lie. I got really plastered one day while golfing and apparently ordered the hammer on ebay. Luckily for me I only paid $20 for it. The sad part is I only realized I bought it when I got the email the next day telling me I had won the auction.

My wife has now shut off my internet (and phone) privileges when we come home from the course.

My dad go it off of eBay and my only question was: Why? I tried it ans it blows, what a surprise. I'd rather use my dad's old Killer Whale Driver than that thing.

I get crap like this alllllllll the time around the holidays. I feel bad because I have to put on a good face because its the intention that counts. I come from a family of non golfers so I dont expect them to know any better. I have a ton of cart coolers (even though I never ride), repair tools, special gift packs that come with tees and repair tools (but nothing useful), and my favorite is the xout topflights... really? Yeah, I'm not joking... rejected top flights

    • Yea Club Rat said it. I really enjoyed the Senator and the Judge, then over to Grand National where there a couple good courses plus a fun par 3. The one I do play whenever I visit there is Ross Bridge; something about this course that is just good fun. I hope to play more of the courses in the future, but tomorrow is promised to no one, so hope is the key word. Have Fun, iSank

    • Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
