Hey all,

I have a wedding in August and got only one day available to golf.  What is your suggestion in the Asheville area?

Grove Park is too expensive.  Thinking of Cummings Cove or High Vista.

I found this ancient thread, so I'm asking the question again...

We have a guys trip to Asheville in October. Anyone have some suggestions as to best places to play?

Probably too late for this.  Grove Park is wonderful but pricey.  Cummings Cove is a good golf course - nice vistas but quirky (6 par 3's, 5 par 5's, large elevation changes).  Etowah from my experience can be hit or miss on conditioning.  Broadmoor is supposed to be nice but haven't been there.  Be interested in what you experience as I visit the area annually.
