I've been Playing Golf for: 20 years (off and on, concurrent)

My current handicap index or average score is: 19

My typical ball flight is: Straight/Fade

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: My iron points to the right at the top of backswing.

One thing, if anything, I'd like to get rid of the way my iron points to the right at the top of my backswing.  Any help would be appreciated.

Your backswing gets across the line because the club is too shallow during the early part of the backswing, so you attempt to get it on-plane, but "overshoot" the target (i.e. you build up momentum getting the club to the plane and you don't immediately stop it, so it coasts right on past "on plane" to "across the line."):

Hinge the club up faster. More wrists sooner. Rickie Fowler feeling. Feel like the club is the opposite of this - you want it to feel SUPER steep (like it's straight up and down when your left arm is horizontal). And that's as long as your swing should likely feel too - left arm horizontal, shaft sticking straight up in the air like you're holding an umbrella in your hands.

Wow, I was kind feeling the same thing also when..that when I "felt" I was doing it correctly/better it felt I was holding it straight up into the air.  What do you think about how I'm "cupping" my wrist?  I'm going to try to implement like my right hand is holding a tray (at the top), which seems to flatten my left wrist alot more..or is this part not that important?

I wouldn't do that. I'd get into why but honestly I think it's too much to think about. Cock the club up, hinge it up faster, and stop when your left arm is horizontal and the shaft feels vertical.

Your left wrist might be slightly cupped, which is fine.
