I've been Playing Golf for: 20 years on and off, recently playing regularly

My current handicap index or average score is: 12.9

My typical ball flight is: draw

The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: long irons

OK, let's have it.  Two things stick out to me.  First, my elbow breaks at the top of my swing a little.  I don't feel it, and even when I'm trying to not do it, it shows up on camera so I know it's there.  Second, and I'm not sure what the actual terminology is, but my hands seem to drop immediately at the top of my backswing.  This is a 6I btw.

When the forearms rotate as much as yours tend to do, you have to lift the arms to compensate.  Makes contact inconsistent, I think you'll find it easier to strike the ball solid focusing on this

Wow, that's quite a gaping hole you can see through under my arm, I never noticed that feeling in my swing. Thank you for taking the time to make it understandable and easy to see the difference between what I'm doing and what I need to work on. I actually just started working with a swing training tool that may help that, but I will definitely try the tee method as well and post something soon so see how it's working out.
