I switch back and forth between the interlock and overlap grip.  Lately Ive started using the interlock again because I feel like it locks my hands together the best and forces them to work together.

Whats in my :sunmountain: C-130 cart bag?

I use interlock. I feel that my hands become one big meat mitten and grips the club the best this way. Experiment. And see what works best for you.

used to use interlock but I tried overlap a couple of months ago and have shot my best rounds, overlap seems to give me a more secure hold with my left hand. Experiment with it see what works better for you.

I use an interlock, but only because it seems more comfortable to me.  I don't believe there is an advantage to interlock or a Vardon (overlap) grip although Big Jack used to say the interlock was better if you have small hands.  Could be I suppose.

The overlap takes the pinky finger of your dominant hand out of the swing, so it makes your dominant hand slightly weaker (because theres 1 less finger on the club).  I played with the overlap for about a year because my instructor advised me to but I always kind of felt like it was harder for me to release the club with that grip.
