Oh and by the way....the vardon grip is overrated, BIGTIME

Do people actually rate grips? I've yet to see a Golf Digest: Hot List Grips Edition. 5 stars for interlocking!

So you're claiming to be a one-handicap, huh? Good one.

Thanks for the early April Fool's Day joke.

Let's see...

Stance too wide

Knees locked at address

Knees suddenly bend when club goes back

Right arm goes from straight to bent at top

Shoulders at about 45 degrees at the top - no power build-up

Head bobs all over the place

Too much right hand on the downswing; looks like over the top as a result but hard to tell from this angle

Casting the club on the downswing

What's with the right foot sliding towards the left at impact?

Why are you choking up on a 5-wood?

You have a handicap, but it ain't a 1.

My 12 year old 12 handicap kid said you hit ground before hitting the ball. The most obvious one was at about 1:26. Don't worry, my kids criticize my swing all the time. They are both more than 13 strokes better than me on a regulation course. They don't have all the bad habits and inhibitions most adults have, as you mentioned in your post.

LOL look at all the pissed off people, lol don't worry about it people and stop getting pissy, that's a old video and blahblahblah, it's not your fault your ignorant about how to consistently hit the golf ball straight as an arrow, its just that you never taught yourselves the basics, stop putting too much thought into the swing, thats your problem, and thats a big paycheck for instructors. Keep shellin out your dough keep GUESSING at what you're doing wrong....."well, maybe if I do this I can cure my slice lmao" not gonna ever happen until you learn the right way. And YES it is ridiculously easy to do. And to the guy blabbin about the 2 iron shots lmfao, those two iron shots keep on landing  in a 15 yard circle out at 225, you don't have a snowballs chance in hell of repeating that. LOL NOT A CHANCE IN HELL

Post a recent video, where you're not sucking, or shut it.

Haven't you heard ..... it's the new Power Move. Either that or he was taught by a dance instructor.

We need a new DSM category to cover this particular type of golfing pathology.  I've heard that, if it's diagnosed and treated early, there is a chance of remission.  The only known successful treatment?  Try another sport!

This is some kind of sales pitch.  He laughs at those who hire the 'incompetent 'instructors runs down anyone who can't hit the one iron straight, far and high.  Wait a few days and see his new instructional video for sale.  Because, obviously, he has the answers.

Your mom used it on me last week and I can honestly say that it isn't overrated, it's great.  I plan to pay her 10 dollar fee for that service every time I pass the corner she pulls tricks on.

I can't believe so many people are feeding the troll

As they say, you can take the golfer out of the trailer park, but you can't take the trailer park out of the golfer

thats the old swing fools, hilarious how you guys think you are good when you really ****in suck as the golf swing, you think its about hip swing and shoulder, etc,,, what a huge mistake you are making lmfao you're a bunch of ****in clowns

You want to know why things maybe haven't worked out the way you'd like yet in your life? Maybe why you're STILL living in a trailer hitting balls into a homemade net because you STILL can't afford to go to the range or actually PLAY golf? Maybe you've been wondering why your wife/girlfriend/kids can't stand to be around you and why your "friends" never seem to be available to hang out when you call? It's because you, sir, are a dick. Nice corvette, by the way. Oh, and posting it as your profile picture won't magically make it appear in your driveway.

    • You know, I tried the online lessons path. Worked with a guy in london, I'm based in Pakistan and there are no certified / trained coaches here.  The guy told me I needed wrist hinge. I tried that for months and only managed to move the wrist a few inches by the time the club reached parallel on the backswing.
    • As a former student for 2+ yrs I don’t think this is true. His concept is simple, be still and closed through impact while having a single swing thought. Do you have a video where he talks or teaches this advanced version?
    • You need continued lessons with a pro, whether online or in-person.  Comments on a forum like this one can point you in the right direction, but ultimately, you need a pro to work with you for best results.
    • Good grief, get over yourself.   What does this have to do with Jordan Spieth?!   Ok, but slugging through a career of golf with nowhere near the success of Spieth is?  You have no idea what someone else's version of "enduring happiness" is.  He's young, talented, accomplished, is married, etc.; seems to me like he has it made so far.  You're starting to sound like a "get off my lawn you entitled brats who don't work as hard as I did back in my day" kind of guy more and more.  Come off it already.  Your kind of baseless arguments are the reason why "Ok Boomer" is a thing.     Back to what?  Less pay for people doing a job?  Jealous much?   We're not talking about the Olympics!  Quit ranting about the good old days, Grandpa. Nostalgia isn't always as grand as you think it was.  Athletes are bigger, stronger, and perform better than ever.   Ok... so don't.     Not the topic of this thread.  Ok... so don't watch.  I don't watch either.   Instead of ranting and jumping around ideas you have in your head, provide some valid, critical logical reasoning and analysis to the topic at hand.
    • Well I think that is an argument many have against professional sports in general. Many see a bunch of spoiled brats and it can become a real turn off.  I think it is naive to dismiss idea that that money has the potential to corrupt the innocence of a person or a sport. I don't think early success on the scale mentioned is necessarily the recipe for enduring happiness.  With professional sports and with society in general, there is no going back. I am a guy who remembers the days when the Olympics was for those with amateur status. Money has corrupted the Olympic spirit. Now it is something I cannot even bear to watch. College football is approaching that for me as well. I have a limited appetite for that anymore. Enjoy the show and I will stick with my dumb assertions and reserve the right to push the off button.
