I'll check with the tournament director about payment.  I've filled out a credit card form, they're not charging me but need it for the reservation.

We're confirmed for 16 players, here was the last updated list.  We can always add another tee time.  Beach said he'll bring 1-2 more guys, so that puts us at 13-14 with hacker101's +1.  Am I missing anyone?  Going to email the Callaway guys now

Sweet!  Can't wait.

(Please include me on the PMs you mentioned.  I'm definitely out for Saturday, but if something happens Sunday I want to know about it!)

BTW, I'm only going to say this once, and we won't talk about it... Pricing we'll make very attractive but we won't discuss it publicly. PMs or something will be the way to go here. Mike and I will take care of all of you - and any of your friends - and it'll be a once-in-a-lifetime type price, but we aren't going to share it publicly because then it could come back to bite us or others in the future.

Yes Erik and I discussed prices today and I think you'll all be interested.  I'll PM you guys with the price soon and I'll throw out the idea of doing AimPoint in Temecula on Saturday and doing the 5SK clinic at Morongo Sunday afternoon.  I know Golfingdad is out for Saturday.  How does this sound to you guys?  I haven't firmed up these locations yet but wanted to get a feel for the timing.

Ok so sent messages for pricing for the AimPoint/5SK schools, if you NOT receive one and wish to, please let me know.

And just so everyone knows, Friday could potentially be another option for 5SK or AimPoint or both.  I know couple of you guys can't do Saturday.  I do like the idea of doing something Sunday afternoon since everyone will be there anyway.

Yeah... Sunday is a good day to get things done... Saturday works for me as well but if you decide to go with Friday instead, I could probably find a way to make that work.

So we'll just pay the day of, if that's cool with everyone.

Just want to make something clear per the pricing.  It extends to any friends/family you would like to bring.  Because we're such good guys  ;-)

This sounds good... however, I still think that people should "confirm" in this thread that they will be going (or not going)... that way if we need to add on a tee time we can.

Definitely.

And we'll create some kind of little "game" or something as well. If someone can start arranging foursomes, that'd be good. They'll need to be pliable but we can start consolidating that stuff.

And to be clear, we'll probably have to pick the single best times given availability (of the host locations and the attendees) for both AimPoint and the little 5SK/short game school. I don't know that we can do two of them given the rates we're looking at charging y'all. :)

Justin and myself are not very good and can be a little slow, so you may not want us in a low handiecap group just so you all know.

Thanks

That's not a big deal... Any idea of your guys' handicaps? What's your normal 18 hole scores?

I'll go ahead and put myself in the SLOW group. Dont have an established handicap, but have yet to break 100.

Oh, and consider this my confirmation

No idea what our handiecap is I can break 100 in the 90's on a good day but my son gets a little nervus still he will most likly be around 110-115 just because he does not know you all and is away from our home courses so one word comes to mind "bad".

We are not the slowest out there but he is only 14 but would be best to put us in the last group i am sure.

I have no problem not going if this will not work out with us, we just like to play and have a good time.

We're just all out to have a good time and meet new people, so of course it will work out.

    • You might want to try a can of Bar Keepers Friend. Yes, it is abrasive, so just wet a sponge and dab it on. It has oxalic acid (no bleach like "Comet" kitchen cleanser), and it works wonders on stainless steel and other metals. Try it on a small area first to see what happens.
    • Fair   My uneducated thought: the big miss is the penalty area. If you want to optimize score, missing into the bunker (likely 5) is better than missing right into the penalty (possible 6). With that, your strategy seems sound and if you hit a committed shot, you get a bunker 5% of the time, take your medicine and hopefully get a putt for par but accept bogey. You may find yourself in a penalty situation 2-3% of the time and accept the associated outcome. The vast majority of the time though you are giving yourself a good approach shot into the green.
    • I walk 30 mins a day on my lunch break. It is not very intense (since i dont want to get sweaty in my work clothes), so just a touch above leisurely. 3 days a week I walk on the treadmill for 60 mins. I alternate the incline from 4 to 10 for a couple minutes, once every ten minutes. I lift my kettlebells nearly everyday. I have a couple complex routines. I find just 15 minutes and my heart rates is elevated
