Does anyone know of any good public golf courses near Boston, MA. I'm heading their for some college visits and really would like to play some golf while I'm there. Thanks!

whats your budget...

Granite Links in Quincy, MA is a decent track. 5 minutes from Boston, the course actually provides a great view of the city skyline. $$$$ 115

Franklin Park (William J Devine Golf Course) Roxbury, MA... Rough neighborhood but the oldest public golf course in the country. A classic Donald Ross, about 35-40 , right across the street from the Franklin Park Zoo

check it out--i couldn't believe the quality of the course and greens relative to the price--$65 on a weekend morning.
