Hi guys, a lot of the times when I go out for a round I find that I have difficulty playing consistently and keeping my head in the game. After a few bad shots I'm just about ready to quit and I'm not able to save the round. This is especially annoying when I am playing in tournaments. If anyone has some good advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Get a preshot routine no matter what it is stick to it. For me that helps slow me down. And if the round is falling apart and you can't get it under control, use it as practice. Hit 3/4 shots if you have 130 to the flag don't grab the PW( or whatever club you use) take a 7i or 8i and hit a 3/4 shot, low and let it run. Just try different thing. It will make you a better golfer in the long run.

Here's how I forget bad shots: pretend I'm playing alternate shot with someone and blame them for the bad shots (while noting them in my book to see if I find a pattern to fix). That makes it easier to move on and not think to hard about the bad shots.

Also, I get my swing at the range... then just about all I worry about on the course is my tempo. I have the swing... just need to have consistent tempo, which is the easiest part of golf to lose when under pressure, especially in a tourney.

By going to your profile and adding them.  You might not be able to do it yet, it took me a little while to gain access to that function.
