I'm going to say Tiger's going to win 2 majors this year.  I think it's his time, looks like he's starting to get his personal life together (hello Lindsey Vonn) and his short game looked amazing at Doral.  I think he's going to take the Master's and the PGA this year.

I would go with 1 major. If he doesnt get 2 this year then he def will next year. I would love to see Tiger finally come form behind and win one for a change.

I think 2 is the right number. I'm going with the Master's and the British. It's fun to watch how creative he can be on lynx courses, and he can keep his driver in the bag most days.

Im going to go with one major...that being The British Open. I dont really like him to win The Masters this year. There is always so much expectation on him to win at Augusta and it gives me the feeling that this is not where he will break his major drought. Think he will win one of the other majors first, then his next one will be at Augusta.

hopefully he isn't hitting 2 irons off the tee again, and leaving himself 200+ yard second shots again like he did last year

It worked for him at Hoylake so I'm guessing he was trying to reuse that strategy, but with less than expected results. If I remember, he only used his driver once in that whole tournament.

Two majors this year would be nice to see, but I made that same prediction last year and look how that turned out.

I don 't remember was he leaving himself that far into greens at Hoylake?  I remember at the British last year he would sometimes hit 4i off the tee then he had to hit a 2i into the green, and I don't care who you are that makes no sense at all.

And you might be right but I think the difference this year is the short game, but I guess we shall see.

Hoylake was like playing on a runway, last year was a lot softer but the rough was lush so hitting driver risked bringing it into play.

Muirfield this year, Tiger would have been in contention in 2002 but for an 81 in the third round - caught the bad end of a storm I think. One of the rounds that feeds the legend of him not being a wind player though in truth it was just vile weather and he didn't cope as well as others.

Hoylake had dryer conditions so the ball rolled further compared to last year. I don't think he left himself with more than a 5-iron that year, which is still pretty far, but if he can hit a 2 iron pure, 5 iron shouldn't be too much of a problem.

I'll take one major win, Alex. The only way I see him winning two is if he first wins the Masters. (By the way, I 100% pulled that out of my ass. I can't tell the future.) The size of the gorilla that will be lifted from his back if he wins the Masters cannot be measured by the metric system.

I think for sure 1 w/a good chance for 2.

This. If he wins the master this year I fully expect him to break Jacks Record within the next three years.

IMO, I know no asked but I'm saying anyway. He is going to win the Masters and the and probably the Open. If this happens he is going to shock everyone in the tour. Hello intimidation factor and a possible third Major

His game is good enough to win at least two, not sure about his head.  We'll see in a couple of weeks.

Butch
