I played soccer through high school and still play every now and again.  This looks like a great time.

Looks fun...should be a timed event to make it more of a test of soccer skills or non-timed to make it more of a social sport like golf.

I want in on this!

I only play golf because I blew out my ankle and couldn't play soccer anymore.  Of course, I'm a full blown golf addict now, so...

I wonder how long it will be before we start to see shoes developed to produce less spin, more spin, or prevent slicing as they kick the ball.

They should put limits on the COR of the top part of the shoes now before they get out of hand!  And the size too ... nothing over 500 cc, or size 12 allowed.  I'm already banned!!!!  Dam!

Never seen anything quite like that, but I have a few friends who aren't above using the "foot wedge" when golfing.

Still play the odd game of soccer so if they would just amend the rules of golf a little so I could kick the ball I have no doubt my scores would improve dramatically.

I volunteer at a one-week youth camp each summer, as the Games Director. This will be my 5 th summer. I’m going to run this as a scramble format, Shotgun start, modeled on my favorite Par 28 Executive course. I’ll most likely double the par to 48. I have a huge grassy field to work with. I’ll have to simulate the water carry on the 2 nd , but I have a hill for the evil 8 th , that if you don’t reach, it’ll roll back down to their feet. Scramble will keep the more Athletic kids in check to root on their not so much team mates.

The camp theme this summer is "Lights, Camera, Action". After all, isn’t it said the best business deals are made out on the Golf Course?

~Tom B.

I ordered a Chicken and an Egg on the Internet, to find out which came first... I'll keep you posted!

Apparently this has been around in America for quite some time. www.footgolf.info There are courses in Florida, California and VA. among others. I'd love to give this a go sometime. There are a handful of golf courses here in MB that have closed down in the last 5 years....perfect place to play some footgolf.
