Course closed Monday

Due to more than 9 inches of rainfall in the last 72 hours, TPC Sawgrass will be closed to the public Monday, May 6.

Looking forward to spending a few days at TPC with some golf as well at the World Golf Hall of Fame.

TW has got to be odds on fav, right?

Course will play soft, slow -

She's not all that smart, but I'd call her ass a 9! :-D . . . . . . . . . I know, I'm sorry........ :-P

Whoa, easy there. This soap opera has to continue, a lot of grown up people have nothing better to do with their time. We've got to respect this!

This from a guy who was the Scorer on Thursday with Tiger's group, demonstrating the chaos that surrounds Tiger: I was the walking scorer with Tiger's group on Thursday. It was Tiger, K

Some great deals at the WGV courses through GolfNow right now.  Are you playing both or just one?  Give us a review.  I'm planning on a quick run up there in a few weeks too....

Will spend Tues watching practice round (if open), otherwise will go find a course via Golfnow.  Wednesday will play King and Bear at WGV (purchased a deal through Golf Now Deal Caddy). Twosome will pay about $40/ea rather than their current rates which I see are over $100.  Then Thursday at TPC again.  Weather is supposed to be in the high 70s, low 80s. Unheard of weather for May here in FLA, really.

Can imagine TPC is sopping wet - built in lowland swampland.  Better bring mosquito repellant, too.

Looking forward to watching this. Sadly I'll be driving through Kansas or Missouri when Sunday's round finishes. Makes me want to buy satellite radio just so I can listen to it. I grabbed Tiger, Adam Scott, Luke Donald, and Jim Furyk for my fantasy picks. Figured the accuracy of Furyk and Donald would be key (although hearing your weather report makes me worry about Donald's distance) and Tiger and Scott are just playing great golf.

I used Google Earth to look at the 17th hole last night.  It is even more intimidating from the satellite view.   Does that tree ever come into play?

No, the tee box is well left of where the tree is. Unless there's some sort of gale-force wind, that would be a properly awful shot to hit it. Wait, is Nick Watney playing?

Wouldn't it be great to have a little blast from the past.
Tiger and Phil walking up the 18th fairway on Sunday afternoon tied for the lead...probably just wishful thinking.

Wait a minute. Could we throw Fred Couples in there too?

Horschel, tiger and phil in a playoff sunday.

Tiger in the water, Horschel birdies, Phil misses the putt.

Hows that for a prediction. HA!

Horschel winning a playoff against Phil and especially Tiger. You will get crazy odds on that

    • Going through the list, and happen to find Sand Valley (25th) and Lawsonia (23rd) 🙂 Best public golf courses 2021-22: GOLF's Top 100 Courses You Can Play For the first time our ranking of the best public-access courses ventured outside the United States into Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and the Caribbean. • I know this is off topic but wanted folk to know that if they install the 14.5 update it's important that they now get the 14.5.1 update which fixes some security issues with the 14.5 update: Apple releases critical iOS 14.5.1, macOS 11.3.1 security updates The iOS and iPadOS 14.5.1, macOS 11.3.1, and watchOS 7.4.1 updates contain security patches along with an App Tracking Transparency fix. Thanks.
    • I think you’re on the right track with this. You don’t want to lift the heel just for the sake of lifting it, but you also don’t want to forcibly keep it down, either. Some people can make a good turn without lifting the lead heel and some can’t. The heel itself is not the important part.
    • I find, as an old geezer just a bit away from the edge of the mortality table, that lifting the lead heel and letting my lead knee point towards or even slightly behind the ball, gives me a bit more rotation and the act of replanting it improves my pressure shift to the lead foot. My handicap is slowing creeping downwards so it seems to be working for me or, at least, it FEELS like it's working...  😈
    • Yeah, for sure! 🙂I work in Technical Support for a living and deal with end users all day long so I understand the importance of caring for the user and the importance of sharing information in forums like this. They've dropped the ball quite a bit on this one in my eyes, but hopefully they can rebuild that trust back for those of us who are willing to stick through it with them.  I ended up buying Pro with the discount they gave me. Figured why not try it. It's version 3.0. They have a 30 day return policy and if it just ends up being crappy for whatever reason(s), I'll just return it and hope the app gets updated and stick with Live. Plus, I got a buddy who had Classic and I could give him my Live version if all things align how we want them to.
