I tried a set of Cobra Amp Cell irons today and was looking around online and found that they also make an Amp Cell set of irons. Are the Cell irons just the newer version of the Amp irons? Are they relevantly similar? Thanks.

Yes they are this years version. They aren't a whole lot different but I bought the amp cells this year because I hit them further and straighter and could get them fitted for free. All in all not a whoooole lot different

Just last summer i won a set of Cobra Amp Cell irons at a tournament i played in. The Taylor made RAC version i had before were a great set of clubs until i played with the new ones. The Amp Cell Irons added  yardage and accuracy to every shot and the most forgiving clubs i have played with yet. When they first hit the market they were 699$ just seen them on amazon fro 399$ great deal if anybody is looking for a great set

2012 was AMP 2013 AMP Cell and 2014 they have the Bio Cell. All are similar but I liked the design and sound of the Cell the best. The Cell had a hollow sound. Haven't tried the Bio Cell just because Cobra isn't on my radar anymore. Getting ready to sell my Cell 3-4 fairway and 4 and 5 hybrids.

Dave :-)

    • Yea Club Rat said it. I really enjoyed the Senator and the Judge, then over to Grand National where there a couple good courses plus a fun par 3. The one I do play whenever I visit there is Ross Bridge; something about this course that is just good fun. I hope to play more of the courses in the future, but tomorrow is promised to no one, so hope is the key word. Have Fun, iSank

    • Eh. He broke ONE of Tiger's records. Youngest to be ranked #1 in AJGA. It didn't help that Tiger's birthday is in late December, or that Tiger didn't play many AJGA events before he was 15. Did he do any of these things? • Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
