Jeff, I want to hear your thoughts on Shorecliffs after you play it.  It is right around the corner from my office, and I use their range sometimes in lieu of Talega because they have a small section of grass, but I haven't actually played that course in 15 years.  I remember it being pretty cruddy, but that was a long time ago.

Will do. Played there once a couple years ago and thought it was OK. Hated the fact you have to drive through sewers to get from one side of the course to the other...

With a slope of 130, its fairly challenging. Plus I'm only paying $30, so its hard to top that. Downside: They're punching the greens on Monday, so its going to be a bit before you want to try and play there...

Will post pics and do a short review on Monday.

4th quarter is always our biggest time of year for distribution our warehouses shipping to retailers.

Can i have a standing spot i dont want to make things difficult?

Ummm... kind of, I guess. I firmed things up with the course today and they will be sending me out a contract shortly. At this point (I hadn't seen your post when I talked to the guy at the course) we are confirmed for 16 players at $85 each. They require a 20% deposit which basically means 2 of us need to prepay (Mike and I took care of that). If we have people who don't show up, especially if it is a significant amount (like an entire fouresome) they will still want to charge us for that, so please don't say you will be there if there is a good chance you might not be. He said as long as we give him a fairly accurate head count a week or so before we'll be fine, so try to let us know by then. It'll be a lot easier to add you on at the last minute rather than take you off, so considering that, I'm going to assume that you will not be there.

Yeah... at this point I only have you as +1 anyways. As long as we give them a pretty accurate head count about a week out we'll be fine. They just don't want us to reserve 4 foursomes and then only show up with three or that kind of thing.

7.0 for me. :)

I shot 90-91 in my club championship.  My index actually went down a half stroke, and I think it went down based on the 90, which was posted as an 85 cause I took a 12 on one hole.

Playing this weekend with my dad and we usually play at my father-in-laws club, but he's busy.  Looking all around for a decent place for Saturday morning, and although its a bit of a trek, at this point its very possible we'll end up at OQ!
