TM changes up their look with these, they look more like Mizuno's than TM.

Interesting concept of the slider, seems they are trying to make the adjustment of the face simpler so the booklet isn't required when making a change.  Could get messy hitting the driver off the deck, but I doubt many non-pro's do that very often.

I have to think such a setup will tempt some golfers into adjusting the setting for different holes which I believe would be against the rules, though I doubt many are aware of such rules outside TST.

Next step might be to use another locking method that wouldn't even require a tool and make it even more convenient for golfers to change the setup on the fly.  Maybe that's what TM was referring to with regards to non-conformance.

We all wonder what "they" will do next...

It's interesting.

Thanks for the heads up.

I'm fairly certain the slider just changes the CG location, not the face angle.

They could just do that now with the hosels… I don't think it will be a problem.

Not much different than this . Or these .

Nah ... just like Erik said.  You can see that there is a screw there so they'd still have to break out the tool.

Weird to me ... look like they've abandoned the white/black/orange color scheme and are going blue here.  (Can't really tell what the crowns going to look like though)

Not much different than this. Or these.

Yup, the Mizuno Fast Tracks were the first things that came to mind.

Crown will be glossy gray. What line of drivers will this be replacing or will they just be adding a new line?

Ryan

Looks like TM is back to their old tricks: recycling old technology and calling it, "new".  Much like the slot in the Rocketblazes that Wilson used in the '80s.

Like opening an awning window, you think?

Interesting idea. It will be interesting to see if it really works.

Mizuno's version of it worked to a certain extent, so I dont see why TM's wouldnt work.  Im sure TM will find a clever way to convince people that their new driver can turn their wicked slice into a nice, little draw.

I agree as long as a tool is required, it's not any different that than the hosel adjustment.  I'd think at some point someone will come up with a method to eliminate the need of a special tool to make the adjustment.

    • You might want to try a can of Bar Keepers Friend. Yes, it is abrasive, so just wet a sponge and dab it on. It has oxalic acid (no bleach like "Comet" kitchen cleanser), and it works wonders on stainless steel and other metals. Try it on a small area first to see what happens.
    • Fair   My uneducated thought: the big miss is the penalty area. If you want to optimize score, missing into the bunker (likely 5) is better than missing right into the penalty (possible 6). With that, your strategy seems sound and if you hit a committed shot, you get a bunker 5% of the time, take your medicine and hopefully get a putt for par but accept bogey. You may find yourself in a penalty situation 2-3% of the time and accept the associated outcome. The vast majority of the time though you are giving yourself a good approach shot into the green.

It is not very intense (since i dont want to get sweaty in my work clothes), so just a touch above leisurely. 3 days a week I walk on the treadmill for 60 mins. I alternate the incline from 4 to 10 for a couple minutes, once every ten minutes. I lift my kettlebells nearly everyday. I have a couple complex routines. I find just 15 minutes and my heart rates is elevated
